Dunkin' — Restaurant in Ross Township

On 12/7/18 approximately 10:30p.m. I experienced the WORST customer service at this location. I have patronized this establishment at least 4-5x's/week for the past 3+ years that I have worked 3rd shift in the area. During this visit as I was pulling to the drive thru speaker a doughnut delivery was being made through the back door preventing me from pulling up to the speaker. The entire time that I'm allowing the delivery to pass in front of my vehicle the older male staff member (who basically works every night) is constantly yelling at me to place my order. The delivery men heard the worker and mentioned that he had just had words with the worker. I informed the delivery guy that I wasn't the least surprised because I have dealt with this man for years and can count on 1 hand ONLY times that he wasn't rude. 2 nights prior when I was placing an order his own employee ( a younger male) was having a verbal altercation with him while trying to complete my order regarding his rudeness. Once I was able to pull to the window I was met with him yet again yelling "I told you to pull to the window, why you didn't pull to the window!" I tried explaining that I chose not to run over his delivery men and that's why I couldn't "pull to window." He continued to cut me off mid sentence and continued to be verbally aggressive towards me. I then informed him that he was a nasty, and rude individual at one point I do believe he nodded his head in agreement with me. I also informed him that I would no longer be patronizing this establishment and that I would encourage all my fellow coffee drinkers to do the same. Great place, not usually too busy. It's also nice that its open 24 hours, especially when you work overnights like I do. There isn't too much traffic through there but you're in a hurry and need a quick cup of coffee before work, be prepared to wait a little bit as their service has been slow each time I've come here. I'm an understanding and pretty reasonable individual, but the guy during the night shift speaks very poor english, which again is understandable, but makes it very difficult to order and frustrating when you're charged the wrong amount for something you didn't even order in the first place. They are great overall, hence the 3-4 stars, but they can be a little bit better as far as time management goes. I've worked in restaurants and coffee shops before. I've worked drive-thru as well. I understand it can be difficult but it shouldn't take 7-10 minutes to get an iced coffee or...

The line is ALWAYS wrapped around the building, but today it seemed as if it was tripled. I KNEW that I would be late trying to get a coffee. Nope!!! Whoever or whatever morning team was there TODAY needs to be the trainer for all drive-thru restaurants across America! It moved like nobody’s business!!!!! And let me add...I’m on a diet and usually when I cheat it’s not worth it. I had stopped eating donuts here a long time ago (I just no longer liked them).
