You are not even going to believe what a bad experience I just had at this place.

First, a huge bug in my sweet tea. Not a big deal. I wasn’t mad about it. I just ordered a new drink and all was fine and good.

So, next I order my sandwich. Corned beef and cheese, everything on it (tomatoes, fries, cole slaw) except onions. The server assured me they don’t routinely put onions on the sandwich that I ordered anyways, but they could be added if I wanted. I told him I didn’t want them, he said it wouldn’t be a problem. My father-in-law orders his sandwich. A pastrami and cheese, add onions, no tomatoes.

Then we see the servers across the restaurant with our order and they’re arguing. Our server is arguing with the lady who brought our food from the kitchen because he knew the food was messed up. They proceeded to bring us over our plates anyways, despite the fact that they were completely wrong. My father-in-law ordered his sandwich no tomatoes, add onions and mine was everything except onions. Instead of taking the tomatoes off of his sandwich, they took them off of mine. So his sandwich had tomatoes on it. So 2 sandwiches wrong. Not a big deal. I wasn’t going to fuss over tomatoes. However, my father in law hates tomatoes and wanted a new sandwich made. He got his new sandwich (although they forgot the onions this time), I was fine with mine how it was.

Until… and if you know Primantis, you might not believe this next part. My fiancé asks me “How’s your sandwich?” because I had got something different. I said, “You know what I haven’t got a good taste of the corned beef yet.”. I look through my sandwich and you wouldn’t believe me, there was NO MEAT on my sandwich!!

We sent it back. The manager brought out a new sandwich, and as he’s talking to us, he’s holding it up just completely ignoring the fact that everyone else is halfway through their meal and I’m yet to eat much of anything. It took me practically ripping it from his hands for him to give it to me. I don't know why he was taking his sweet time giving me the food they screwed up for about the 3rd time now, but I was hungry.

So then i’m eating this new sandwich and i get a big fat onion. I ordered a corned beef and cheese sandwich, everything on it, except onions. This new sandwich, now with meat on it this time, comes out with onions on it!! The server assured me earlier that they don’t routinely put onions on the type of sandwich I ordered. This has to have been a joke. I am in complete disbelief. The manager comp’d the whole meal and we walked out of the restaurant without even finishing our food. The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a...

We had one of the worst experiences EVER with our delivery! We put an order in for delivery, which we thought was great as we had a house full of people watching the Steelers (lose). It was not clear, upon putting in the order for delivery, that it was subcontracted out to Door Dash (until after it was placed).

We ordered 2 meal deals, an extra pizza, and fried mozzarella. The driver arrived, but we were missing 2 pizzas (the food we got was ICE COLD).. He said he would go back and get them. Time went by. I called him and he said he would be back at the store in 5 minutes. More time went by.

I ended up calling the store. Talked to a manager who said they would fire up 2 more pizzas, but WE would have to come get them. Um, this wasn’t my fault. I don’t know if they didn’t give the driver the pizzas, the driver forgot the pizzas…or perhaps HE kept my pizzas. Unsure. I, as the customer, was trapped in between a “he said, she said” and inevitably lost the battle with the manager who said she was too busy to keep track of the error, the solution, or the best outcome (aside from giving us 2 new pizzas, which was nice, but I had to leave my house and go get them).

I went. Got my pizzas from the manager who was not very nice, since I was pushing her to give me a better solution to no avail.

What a complete hassle and overall ridiculousness for me and my house full of people. BEWARE that this can happen to you and be sure you know that going in…very, very disappointed. Of note, I was not offered anything for my inconvenience, which is extremely...

Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar is a chain of sandwich shops originating in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1933 during the Great Depression, it is known for its distinctive sandwiches, which feature grilled meat, an Italian dressing-based coleslaw, tomato slices, and French fries between two pieces of Italian bread.

The first Primanti's restaurant was established in Pittsburgh's Strip District, a bustling area filled with warehouses and produce yards. The sandwiches were originally designed to be a convenient meal for truckers and workers in the area, who needed something quick, substantial, and easy to eat on the go.

Over time, Primanti Bros. expanded beyond the Strip District, opening multiple locations in Pittsburgh and eventually spreading to other states. While they have broadened their menu over the years, the classic Primanti sandwich remains the centerpiece and a beloved icon of Pittsburgh cuisine.

The atmosphere in Primanti Bros. is typically casual and welcoming, often featuring a sports bar-like environment. The decor often pays homage to the local Pittsburgh sports teams, and the restaurants are popular spots for watching games and enjoying a relaxed meal.

The success and popularity of Primanti Bros. are rooted in its unique sandwich concept, consistent quality, and a strong connection to Pittsburgh's culture and history. It has become a must-visit for tourists and a staple for locals, symbolizing the city's blue-collar roots and...

TERRIBLE service. When I went in to eat the waitress took forever to get to us, for drinks the check, to go boxes and everything but had time to chit chat around with coworkers. This time I order to-go an hour and a half before they close. Waited 20 minutes after the app said it would be done for my food to be brought out. Opened the box to find cold, half chunks of French fries. Cold food all around, they close at 12 but the staff was cleaning, the restaurant was empty. Not to mention I paid for extra dressings and lo and behold they were missing from the bag. By far the WORST Primanti’s location I’ve EVER been to.

Came to Pittsburgh for work, all the colleagues hyping up this place like it's the (second) greatest thing on earth. It was only fine, at the end of the day it's just a sandwich with a couple of fries. I had the Italian Sausage. I think there should be far more fries, and enough that there's a small pile as a side too. Maybe less coleslaw and more meat too. The sandwiches look more impressive than they are. Overall I enjoyed the sandwich, but I wouldn't hype it to the extent the locals do.
