My family visited this location for breakfast after reading Google reviews. We will never visit again. The abhorrent hospitality skills displayed by the manager during our visit was completely unacceptable. We waited and waited to be seated only to have newer patrons be seated before us. We were forgotten about even though our name was clearly on the list. A minor frustration, not a big deal at the time.
Food was mediocre, the crepes were rubbery and my eggs were uncooked. The best part of my meal was the fruit bowl (which has fresh fruit - and lots of it).
The reason this review is a 1 star is because we wanted to tell the manager about how poor the service was and that the food needed improvement. What happened instead is that we were berated by the manager who was nothing but argumentative. We didn't get a single "I'm sorry we forgot to seat you" or "I'm sorry the food wasn't to your liking." Instead, we were told "...well what's an extra few minutes - it's no big deal" and that "we shouldn't have eaten the food if we didn't like it." The food wasn't inedible, we just wanted to tell the manager that the food was not as good as it should have been.
The manager was unprofessional and an embarrassment to this location. I felt sorry for the customers watching our altercation, but I refused to be yelled at for her...
ย ย ย Read moreBeen a bit since I went to this place last, thanks to work schedules and a new baby and the pandemic, but finally got a shot to take the family for a late morning brunch. And it was, as times before, am overall pleasant and tasty experience.
This is undoubtedly a chain, so expect as much, and though the prices are overall very reasonable, it certainly isn't diner faire in that sense. At our visit, the service was a bit slow and inattentive, but I don't blame the wait staff, definitely seemed more a staffing issue, which is sadly par the course right now. And the food came thru where it mattered most.
I had the special with bacon, a piece of toast, two pancakes (which I opted to upgrade to blueberry for like 2 bucks), and one egg (I added an additional to get that protein. My wife got the same special with ham, and no add ons. My 6 year old for the kids plate, which was sizeable for a kids portion, with the same two pancakes as our special, along with eggs and one sausage link. We all found out food quite good and we're satisfied at meals end. And my near 1 year old tried pancakes for the first time and was instantly smitten, so that's a clean 4-4...

First off, let's address the issue of the staff. Every single one of them is polite, friendly, happy and helpful.
Next, restaurant cleanliness/appearance. Cute, rustic decor with very comfortable booths. Everything was spic'n'span. They cleaned each table and booth thoroughly between seatings.
Finally, the Coup d'egrace. The food. Wow. Wow. Wow. I just.... Wow.. the potato pancakes were lightly fried, crispy and delicious. The apple pancake was so amazing. I asked for a side of whipped cream which really upped the ante. Fresh cut apples on top of a dutch baby base, baked with brown sugar and cinnamon on top. Amazing. Delicious. It was so filling, I couldn't even eat half of it. I cannot wait to read into the left overs. Oh, and the orange juice? Squeezed fresh daily. Coffee? Perfectly brewed.
Let's talk omelettes. I've tried several omelettes there, my favorite is the Greek omelette. The slices of gyro meat are so tender and delicious, plenty of feta and tomatoes. Absolutely delicious!
We will most definitely be back.
But first... I'm gonna go do a few laps...
