If you are craving a milkshake, do NOT go to this store. We order milkshakes regularly via UberEats. This store is directly across the street from us. Iām disabled so ordering is worth the convenience and only a couple $ more than what you pay at the window.
We have to order from two different Brusterās stores that are several miles away in order to get a properly made milkshake.
We once returned our shakes to this store and the teenager argued with us saying that they melted. Which is ridiculous since we regularly order from the other stores that take twice as long and get very thick shakes.
Even after this store remade our shakes, which took a lot of convincing, they were STILL very thin. As in when you pull the drink through the straw itās pure liquid. Not milk mixed with ice cream. Straight up lightly flavored cold milk. And thatās after asking for the shakes being made thick.
We order milkshakes from two other Brusters stores, Steak n Shake, Five Guys, and a couple other places and have never had this issue. They are the ONLY place that cannot make a milkshake. Too bad because they are right...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHaven't been to Bruster's in a very long time just because I stopped eating ice cream long time ago years ago to be exact. I just know eating dairy isn't good for most people. (But people have to research and know for themselves! And its not the lactose info). However, don't let my comment make you mad or deter you from eating ice cream. But I tried the vegan Oreo and a waffle cone. I've never had a waffle cone I've had a bowl before years ago but because of allergies and sensitivities that are in our foods, the young lady let me see the ingredients of the bag that they make the waffle cones out of. And it had ingredients in there like Palm oil, soy and some other unnatural ingredients I tried the vegan Oreo cookie because it was nut and Dairy free. It was basically made of oat milk which I could taste. But because we had a coupon for waffle cones he wanted to use. I got the waffle cone but I just ate the ice cream out of it. Ice cream wasn't bad at all. I wanted sorbet but it only came in a limited choices of flavors. But overall it wasn't bad vegan ice cream. I'm glad that there was a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs an up and coming Foodie enthusiast, Bruster's is beyond crazy good and then some! For $5.99, I can get a large waffle come AND mix flavors?!?! Sea Salt Caramel with NY Cheesecake, anyone? With a Fudge drizzle on that, it's heaven in my mouth.
And when they say "Real Ice Cream", it's no fluke at all. I took my order to go, managed to hold off on scarfing down this treat as I went to Captain D's to order my dinner, waited for 15 minutes, then headed home which was roughly an extra 6 minutes. By the time I made it to my abode, I took my time on my food....which was about 18 minutes.
When I was done, my Ice Cream didn't melt at all. Like, AT ALL!!
I don't know what kind of Voodoo Ninja Magic Spells from the Darkest Crevices of Lord Rothion's Walls of Jericho you've put into your Ice Cream but you've officially got me under your spell. Had me chanting "Yummy Yummy YUMMMMM-MA!!"
Overall, Bruster's Ice Cream.....I love you....
