TL:DR: Awful food, Awful service. 10/10 would NOT recommend.
The Good: Beautiful renovation, fantastic spiced oil for dipping bread.
The service: We went on a rainy night and were one of 2 tables in the entire restaurant. The trouble started when we (3 adults) ordered drinks, 1 glass of wine and 1 beer. The wine didn't come at first and when it actually did it was visibly not what I ordered. The waitress dropped it and took right off and it took another several minutes before I could get her attention to ask her to swap it for what I ordered. It took another 10 minutes for the replacement to come out. The glass I ordered (prosecco) was just plain gross but I picked it so I drank half of it then ordered a glass of cava. Another long wait and someone else brought out a glass of red wine. I pointed out that I had ordered the cava and asked for them to swap once again. Another 10+ minutes later another glass came out and it too was not the cava I ordered. At that point our meal was already done so I declined the offer to swap it again. The manager came by at the end of the meal to let us know she took the glasses I didn't order off of the bill. That was nice since I didn't order them. While our waitress was a sweet young woman, she was inattentive and less than competent.
The food: The oil and herb mixture for dipping the breads was fabulous. Unfortunately, that's where the good started and stopped. We had the lamb Croquettes as an appetizer and they were just plain gross. The lamb + overly sweet fruit + odd spice choice made for a weird, conflicted taste. We also had the scallops and while not off putting they were just mediocre and lacked flavor. We had the steak frites, chicken brochette, and shish brochette. The steak was overcooked and the frites were soft and grossly under salted. The dish was cold and bland. The shish was cooked to the ordered temperature but both it and the rice lacked flavor. The chicken dish was served warm but the chicken was dry and bland and the rice was bland as well. The menu lacks cohesion and the dishes all (olive oil excepted) lacked flavor. The waitress repeatedly mentioned that the restaurant was "fine dining" but this was far from it.
The valet: They have a mandatory valet. The valet is apparently supposed to hand you a glass of sparkling wine on the way in. We got no such glass. When we exited the restaurant it was raining. There is nowhere to stand by the valet that is covered. The valet grabbed our keys and started to the car then turned and walked back and waited for another car that hadn't turned in yet to come up so he could drive back with her car to get ours. This required us to stand in the rain while he waited and then chatted and then parked her car. This sort of minor inconvenience wouldn't stop me from coming back or inspire a review or even an afterthought normally but I mention it here as it seems to be...

Floga isn’t just dinner—it’s an experience. From the moment you pull up, the hospitality begins: complimentary valet service and a welcome glass of Prosecco on the red carpet set the tone for a night that feels special.
Cocktails & Drinks: We sampled a range of cocktails, and every single one was impressive. The Mojito was refreshing, the Purple Tulip had a vibrant balance of flavors, and the Lemon Meringue Spritz was as fun as it was delicious. You can tell their bar team takes pride in the craft.
Starters & Small Plates:
Brussels Sprouts: Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—an elevated take on a classic.
Lamb Croquettes: Absolutely outstanding, rich in flavor with a crisp outside.
Forest Mushrooms: Earthy, savory, and cooked to perfection.
Steak Fries: Simple but satisfying, done right.
We skipped the charcuterie board this time, but it looked tempting for our next visit.
Main Courses:
Paella: Bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and comforting in all the right ways.
Rack of Lamb: Tender, flavorful, and a highlight of the evening.
Moussaka: Rich, hearty, and delicious—authentic comfort food elevated to fine dining.
Service & Atmosphere: The service was phenomenal. The staff was polished, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience. In an area where service often feels hit-or-miss, Floga has clearly invested in training their team—and it shows.
Overall: Between the red-carpet welcome, the incredible cocktails, and the outstanding food, Floga raises the bar for what dining in Atlanta should be. This is more than a restaurant—it’s a...
Read moreThis place recently opened and my wife and I had to try (we are Roswell foodies). Valets offered us prosecco while taking our car (nice touch). Our dinner was average as the Shish was over seasoned and the Sea bass was under cooked. We had unusual sticker shock as $500 gets you so much more with the restaurants down the street. After further inspection of the bill, they charged us $132 for 6 “East coast” oysters. There are some phenomenal oysters out there (Coffin Bay King oyster or Gillardeau oysters) that are $20 an oyster, but selling East coast for that price was surprising. I would highly recommend you confirm the MP costs before indulging at Floga and maybe sticking to Zest or Little Alley for your oysters.
UPDATE: Their GM (Diamond) personally called me to understand what happened and how they can continuously improve their service. There were several points of failure that she will address all of which can be easily implemented. For the record, for my part I should have just called over a manger on the spot.
She promptly identified the over charge on my bill and refunded my card. I want to leave this review up as a reminder that it takes courage to do the right thing and we can all continuously improve. Diamond & Floga have demonstrated to us that they care about their customers and value our business.
I updated overall from 2 to 4-stars and value from 1 to 3 stars. Leaves room for 5-stars on our...
