Johnny's New York Style Pizza — Restaurant in Roswell

The food was good, but the service for pickup was terrible. I was early to pick up my order so I thought I would have a beer while I waited. I walked in to see 3 or 4 guests lined up to pick up their orders and 4 or 5 front of house (FOH) employees. I sat at the bar and despite the FOH staff being rather close by was not acknowledged in any way for maybe 5 minutes. I decided to give up on the drink and stand at the register to check on my order as no one else was in line at this point. Another few minutes go by as I watch an employee on their phone behind the register, another doing some standard maintenance on their empty tables, one vaguely looking busy, and another sitting down behind the bar watching and applauding a baseball game. The employee who was working on their tables asked a coworker to assist me and the now 2 others in line. That employee promptly answered the phone instead of even speaking to us. Finally when the phone call was done did someone spoke to me for the first time. I had been there for roughly 10 minutes at that point and would have just left had I not placed my order online. An employee finally spoke to me and checked on my order and it just took maybe 2 more minutes until my order was ready. The timing of my order and the food itself was fine, but my customer service experience was cold and seemed like an inconvenience to the FOH staff. Not sure I'll be going back...

2nd trip to this new location. The first trip was very enjoyable. This trip was the opposite. We went last Friday and my wife ordered a glass of wine. When it came, there was something stuck to the inside of the glass. Not sure what it was. I took the glass of wine back inside to get a new one. The person who I explained it to, took the glass to the bartender. He simply poured the wine from the old dirty glass into the new one. I was outraged. I asked to speak to the manager. He listened to me and had them bring my wife an entirely new glass. Well, this glass was dirty too. I explained it to our waiter who was very nice. He brought us a third glass of wine. This one was okay. We ate our meal and during our stay my wife ordered one more glass of wine. We ordered pizza slices to eat, and the crust was very hard, and so hard at the edge, it was inedible. We figured they have one cheese pizza that they use for slices and just add toppings and put it in the oven again. We sort of blamed ourselves for that mistake. Our check came and I was surprised that the manager did not discount either of my wife's wine at all. We paid full price, but that was the last time. There are too many other good pizza places around to put up with this. As for the positives, our waiter was extremely good and tried his best to turn our experience into a positive one. My personal experience here was not so good. When I arrived everyone was very busy. No 1 acknowledged me staning there. It was about a full minute time before someone did. I was able to place an order, but the waiter was not able to complete. The waiter took my order and went to the table to get the table order. About 2 -3 minutes later, another person asked if I've been helped. I explained that someone took my order but I needed to pay.

The person asked what I want to order. & and after gave me the receipt to sign. And was off to complete their task . Shortly after the original person did apologize for not completing. And explained the kitchen was really busy. But since I only ordered 2 slices of pizza that it shouldn't be long .

My wait time was about 5 mins before I asked if they knew how much longer you think it would be. I was informed, "Sorry they are making it now." I told them it's okay. I have to be on my way now. So I left. I didn't ask for a refund. I just decided this was not the place for me given my full experience. Not a place for me, but I am aware of the franchise, and they have good food.
