Update They were not concerned when I brought it up to them at the location on crossvill3 a road,Roswell, GA. Why the response now.. Maybe to look like they're not as bad as they really are. I want everyone to know I went there because they advertised for fresh food fresh everything and they advertised for a $10 gift card.. but that requires a $30 purchase. It was just a big scam. ..The review above mine is a fake review done by AI It's merely to make them look like nothing's wrong.. and to bypass my review. Your best option is to not go here.. nothing is fresh everything from the store that they were using was from Walmart... And then they're charging you way too much.. I'm going there for fresh food not processed cheap food... 3/4 of the stuff that I saw had packaging of the Walmart brand great value on it. My recent visit was quite disappointing. The space itself was cramped, and I noticed several tables hadn't been cleaned after previous guests.
I ordered a breakfast croissant sandwich with cream cheese, egg, bacon turkey, tomato and spinach. The only redeeming quality was the spinach/ cream cheese, and even that was merely passable. The egg was cold, and the turkey bacon tasted unpleasantly like it had been microwaved, with a distinct chemical aftertaste. The tomato was mushy and cold, further detracting from the sandwich. I further want to add that the croissant was a couple days old, it definitely was not fresh. They advertise that the croissants are made fresh daily.. this is not the case.
The coffee was the sole highlight of my meal, and it was the first thing I tried. While decent, it wasn't exceptional. The coffee beans seemed subpar, and the elaborate design on the milk foam, likely created with a stencil, felt like an attempt to distract from the mediocre quality.
Unless you typically enjoy fast-food options like McDonald's or Dunkin' Donuts, I strongly advise against wasting your time or money here. The coffee is the only acceptable item on the menu. If you have a discerning palate or appreciate fresh, well-prepared food, you will likely be very disappointed. This establishment seems geared towards those accustomed to processed foods or who have lower expectations for taste...
Read moreLayers of Delight, literally!!! I tried out Lviv Croissants today and it is a cozy and lovely cafe! :) The staff is very polite, helpful and knowledgeable.
Today, I took a bite of the Smoked Salmon Avocado Salad and it was a divine BURST of flavors and happens to be one of the best salads I have ever tasted! There are 3 salads that I have eaten my entire life that are this amazing, the Smoked Salmon Avocado Salad is one of them! :)
The salad is made up of fresh herbs, cucumbers, avocado, lox, ginger, a sesame viniagrette, pickled red onions, cilantro and pickled ginger. The contrast between sweetness and the savery nature of lox is what makes this salad pure pleasure. Additionally, the seaweed seasoning plus the ginger, smoked lox and sesame dressing reminds you of the joys of eating sushi or Japanese food. If you are a fan of sushi you will probably be as thrilled with this salad as I am! :) :) And if you are not a fan of sushi you should still prepare yourself to be "Wow"ed! :)
For the main course, I had the Mediterranean Chicken Croissant Sandwich. It is a delicious combination of fire-braised chicken, fresh mozzarella, arugula, tomatoes and Pesto Aioli on a whole grain croissant.
And finally, for dessert, I had the Strawberry & Mascarpone Croissant and a fresh yummy and creamy Cafe Americano Latte. :) :)
This croissant is made with rich decadent House-Made Mascarpone Cream, strawberries, maple syrup and is delicately sprinkled with powdered sugar. It is rich with it's mascarpone and refreshing with it's mint. It is not excessively sweet which makes it great.
I cannot wait to go back and try the beet salad, other croissant sandwiches, their soups, desserts and their large selection of refreshing drinks, teas, lemonades and delicious coffees. :) :)
Enjoy all the...
Read moreMehhh As someone who travels allot to Europe, I found it to be quite challenging to find decent French pastries in the US, except Manhattan, NY. I was excited to hear about the opening of LVIV in Roswell, GA. Being part of a European chain, I thought it would be nice to finally get decent croissant in GA.
We ordered the two small veggie medley sandwitch and two cappuccino drinks to dine-in.
The Croissant: A real croissant is cranchy on the outside while soft and fluffy inside. It feels like eating air. The one we got at LVIV felt and tasted like bread. Not crunchy at all and very meaty inside - like most croissants I've tasted in the US. This is far far from the European version and even further from the French one. The croissant is not different from what you get at Panera Bread or any other American chain.
Sandwitch Content: Roasted Peppers from a can, a few spinach leaves, no seasoning, no salt or pepper, no dressing. It was completely flavorless. The menu stated it was supposed to have "everything bagel" seasoning but we couldn't find it in any of the 2 sandwiches we ordered.
Coffee: We ordered capouccino but received Latte. It was just OK.
Service: We ordered our 2 sandwiches and coffee to eat in. When called to pickup the order, both sandwiches were on a single plate. Asked for another plate, the person handed me a small plate that wouldn't even fit the 2nd sandwich. I had to force her to give me a similar plate to the one they used for the 2 sandwiches. The coffee was served in paper cup (we ordered dine-in) although they had real mugs laying on the espresso machine.
To summarize: I had high expectations for this place to live up to its European counterparts but was completely disappointed. There are other places that offer...
