McDonald's — Restaurant in Roswell

Let me start by saying that I ordered a fountain drink, and I was in the drive thru for exactly 11 minutes. That's it. I was just thirsty and wanted a quick drink ASAP. So I figured I couldn't go wrong by hopping into a McDonald's drive thru. It was a slow time and there was only one other car before me. However, I think it was immediately obvious that the drive thru employees were brand new and undergoing training. I understand that. I really do... But I ordered a fountain drink. Come on. I think the person in front of me ordered one meal! They were rung up, kept there for 7+ minutes, and then told to pull up and WAIT for their order!! Then I get up there and see one employee who is asking about how to work the card machine, which makes me nervous since she already had my card. She didn't even try to hide how clueless she was. The other employee was taking orders for the people that had been accumulating into a really long line behind me, pushing the buttons on the screen so slowly... Don't you learn where the items are and how to work the machines IN TRAINING by video or shadowing or practicing when no one is there?? Shouldn't all that happen before people give you their orders and hand you their money?!?! I'm sitting there, worried I'll be rung up for $103 instead of $1.03... Anyways... 2 stars because the manager training them was moving as fast as she could, being super polite and apologizing, big smile on her face, all while telling the two new employees what to do. Lastly, this McDonald's shows up on UberEats but cancels your order 50% of the time. Just FYI. So waiting 10+ minutes to find out your food isn't coming sucks too. Get your...

My non verbal set of twins wanted to enjoy themselves, Obviously because their playground is so cool looking-- like a mini safari! (We were only there to wait for about an hour until charity opens so we could give away food and clothing)... But It is obvious that the manager of this location is a very rude human being who cannot even be bothered to speak to you as a human being and always has the playground closed down For his own means!!! I am guessing for orientations which is something they need to start Letting people know ahead of time because people come there to let their children enjoy Themselves. I did not even have an employee come up and tell us, A customer, (an elderly man) came and Let me know. I feel there is no excuse for how they manage at this mcdonald's!!! It is a very upsetting experience because my toddler twins were screaming, They need to not let parents down at this location! SO DO BETTER, Or Continue to lose customers And receive horrible reviews for your horrible service at this location! Parents do not go here! Do not bring your children here!!! Absolutely disgusting behavior... Does not mean the workers are horrible , just the manager (Wearing a white shirt) Thank goodness I did not buy food yet and waste my money here before I realized, Ughhhh, Not kid friendly location AT ALL legally & literally deserves 😱 0 stars...

I started bringing my grandson here in August to have lunch and play on the nice inside playground. It was pretty clean and there was a sign on the door saying that they close the playground every Tuesday for cleaning and maintenance. That was impressive and we were visiting about 3 to 4 times a month. But it has gone downhill in the last two months. It has gotten dirtier every time we’ve gone!

We went today and the place was filthy! The tables had trash on them and obviously had not been wiped. There were two puddles of ketchup in the middle of the floor and the place hadn’t been swept in a while.

I used 4 baby wipes today just to clean the seats and table so we could sit.

I complained to the manager who told me that they use the room for training on Tuesdays, not cleaning! What?! I showed him the sign! He had no clue! Did the training group make this mess?

He sent a lady in to wipe down the tables and sweep and mop. She did a great job but the “maintenance “ guy that the manager also sent in whose job it is to clean, took one look around and said “I’m not cleaning this “ and left.

I should have taken pictures. Probably won’t go back. It’s a shame because it is really a great play area for the kids.
