We came in to this place on a whim. The dirty mirror wall should have been the first hint. We were greeted a man with headphones in his ears. We were sat immediately. There were 3 other tables. Drink orders were taken and immediately brought out. After that, it was nearly 30 minutes before anybody even looked at us (there were still only 3 tables). Eventually I was able to call someone over and they good our order. After about 10 minutes, the server came to tell me that they were out of Thai coconut soup, so I had to order something else. It took about 15 minutes for the apps to come out. The edamame was definitely not fresh, it smelled like fish and was most likely frozen. The crab Rangoons were cold. When my soup did come out, it was hot and tasted OK. The broth was good, but the seafood and chicken in it was overcooked and chewy. My entre and my wife's entre we're OK when they did arrive an hour after being seated. Nothing to write home about, but tasty, with the exceptions gain of the vegetables. All of the veggies here do seem to be frozen and/or canned. The the green beans and carrots were all soft and colorless and not very tasty. The sauce and spices helped to cover it up though. Overall, not worth nearly the $63 price tag (no alcohol, just a code and a pink drink). I would definitely not recommend this to anyone. That said, if you are in a pickle, the food is mostly edible whenever it...
Read moreToday was my first time at Rasa Sayang and let me just tell you that I was over the moon with everything I had to eat. So today my friend and I were on the hunt for a new restaurant to try when a quick goole search brought up Rasa Sayang I had never heard of this restaurant before so we made the trip to see what they had to offer and let me just say we were pleased. The server recommend a sticky rice chicken roll and it was so flavorful followed by some garlic parm fries and they were so good I eat all of them. We also asked our server his recommendation for our entries he suggested two noodle dishes and if I could remember the names I would put them up but I can't remember but let me just tell you they were so full of flavor and the spice was on point. Before I forget to mention the restaurant itself is on the small side but it's so delicious that I would bring my whole family there and all of my friends as well because I know the food is out of this world and everyone would find something to eat . The price overall is amazing for the portions of the food your definitely get the bang for your buck here. We would a million percent go back and eat there no question asked they...
Read moreI just ate there this evening and was very disappointed and so were the rest of my party. I started going to their old location on Roswell Road many years ago....It was amazing. Over the past 5 years the food is lack luster anymore. It seems inferior to what it once was. Watered down soups and main dishes just do not have that same higher standards. The waitress' we had were VERY rude, way too quick to grab our dinner plates when one of our party was still eating. They were all ready to throw out the plastic take home boxes and leave the check when perhaps we may have liked to have dessert. They use paper napkins now and before they used to use linen ones folded in a nice way on the place settings. After many years of visiting them .... my party and I have decided to now search out the place that will cater to our taste buds, have respectful service and NOT rush us out the door. That will be the last time we go there. They also have increased their prices way too much for the inferior food being served. Just being honest here folks..... A big...
