During my recent visit to 12 Lunar Eatery, I had the pleasure of trying their Cha Shua noodles. Can't say enough good things about it. The noodles had the perfect texture and bounciness while the soup was rich without being overly heavy. It had a good depth to the flavor.
The folks working at 12 Lunar Eatery were awesome. They made sure we had enough room for our group and were even kind enough to accommodate our request to switch tables. Their hospitality added to the overall super pleasing dining experience.
The restaurant itself has a modern and airy vibe. However, I do want to point out that the bench seating, while looking nice, wasn't the most comfortable. I would recommend not sitting there unless you're shaped like a Lego figurine.
Definitely recommend 12 Lunar Eatery and very glad it's not too far away. Not only did I enjoy it, but my friends who joined me also agreed that it's a step above the typical Chinese restaurants. The food here offers a range of interesting flavors and showcases the culinary skill of the kitchen. I'm looking forward to returning and exploring more...
Read moreThis used to be a fancy burger bar. Now, it's a mildly upscale eatery. We stopped in for dinner one evening. There aren't a ton of tables, which is nice because that means it's not noisy like so many other places are.
They seem to do a lot of "To Go" orders because I saw four stacked up and waiting to go.
I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken. It was pleasantly spicy and very good. The portions are larger than you expect.
We were not asked about our choice of rice (white or brown), and received white, which was fine by me. Not sure if they have anything but white.
Our Egg Rolls were a bit of a disappointment. They are very small and you only get two per order.
As for ambience, it's OK. I didn't hear the music others have mentioned. The light level is good and it is relatively...
Read moreFinally tried 12 Lunar Eatery after watching them build out the location. Very hard to get more traditional Chinese especially within the Roswell / Alpharetta area. First the atmosphere is very nice with a modern airy look to the place. The food is also noteworthy as it was not over sauced or over seasoned as most restaurants are doing today to compensate for quality. We tried the eggrolls , which were more like spring rolls, but were very good. I really enjoyed the Wonton soup with beef broth. They gave you a fair amount of wontons too. Additionally, we had the stir-fry beef and chicken with broccoli which were both very good. Try the Lunar Fried Rice. Portions were amble and the service was very...
