Ellie was the absolute worst server I have had in some time. The unprofessionalism she display with her use of foul language to a customer was unacceptable. She did apologize to everyone and she stated he was a regular. Now onto the main issue of this review. It was my birthday and 4 other co-works decided take me to lunch. Upon arriving, the hostess advised for the wait but if were to sit in the bar area, there would be no wait. BAD CHOICE! After some time Ellie did final bring our drink order, well all except one person. She was reminded twice and did not deliver. After arriving to take our order, let me mind you this was after I noticed that she was taking the order of people that came in 10 minutes after us. She was reminded again and made the smart remark of "I can go get it now"! At this point my coworker declined and we advised that we needed to order due to time restrictions. After over an hour, the food never came nor did Tee get the beard she loves so much. We requested the manager, William, who provided nothing but excuses. The excuse of being backed up was not a true reason we had not gotten our food after noticing everyone had. Other guests got the food they ordered and were able to move to different seats within the bar area. William left to check on the status of the order and after about 3-5 minutes of him not returning, we decided to leave. I called back to get a number to the corporate office and the phone was passed along to William. Sadly his attitude did not change. I will leave the cowboy pork chops but will not be dining at this location ever again. All others in the party agreed. The only food to arrived to the table was 1 of 3 salads that was ordered. It arrived with Ellie's a thumb in it, for seasoning...
Read moreHorrible customer service at this restaurant. I blame the management, whom should definitely be checked upon if they are doing their job how they are supposed to. We called at 9:40 p.m. to place a to-go order which we waited about 6 minutes until someone finally answered the phone to tell us that they were not taking to-go orders over the phone and we had to go in person to place the order. We drove out of our way to go to the restaurant and arrived at 9:55 p.m. and the bartender tells us the kitchen may be closed but she would check on it. After 5 minutes, she returns to tell us that the kitchen closed down everything at 9:35 p.m. because it was so slow and they were not expecting anyone else to walk in. The funny thing about it is that I know about the Darden restaurant policies and am aware that if a guest walks in the door before closing, they receive service. I left and decided to call the restaurant to speak to the manager to complain that it was not right for us to be denied service when we were told we would get it if we drove there. Another employee (whom I assume was the bartender) answered the phone and said she would search for the manager and she put me on hold. After 5 minutes of waiting, she told me the manager was busy because they were closing down and took down my information and said the manager would call me back shortly. I never received a call back tonight. Don't put your closing hours at 10:00 p.m. if you are going to deny someone service, especially after telling them on the phone you can place the order in person before close because I could've easily saved my time and ordered elsewhere. Second; get a more professional manager who knows how to do their job and speak to a guest that...
Read moreThe place was slow for Tuesday being a busy day per Google reviews. The steak was amazing cooked just as I asked and tasted amazing the apps were a joke! Ordered the chili cheese fries and was told by the waiter that management says to always upgrade to the large size no matter if the customers asks or not! All BEWARE!!! I had to talk to the manager to get the plate for price on the menu at witch point he asked why wouldn't you just take the large plate home and heat them up. Even gave me directions on how to heat them up in my home stove. I'm in town on business and can not nor would I heat them up in the mic in the hotel! Who wants soggy reheated chili fries! Have never been so appuled in my whole life! Come on 1st a single person eatting dinner alone could never eat an app designed for a table of 4. 2nd when I complained to the waiter he joked about how big they Platte was and offered no resolve other than the manager said to all ways up charge and said its a way better price and quantity than other places. 3rd it was more of an insult to have to ask and explaine how a single person would never be able to eat that much food and to say I shoild take them home and reheat them come on how do you for a minitue have any idea what is in my best interest. Lastly I will say this normally I would just drop it and call it a day but I felt like others should know that that are scamming not only business profosionals but rhe locals and making them pay for food that they do not order. My last thought if they will do this to up the cost of my tab what other things are they upcharging for and not asking people for before they bill you for items you did not...
