This was an incredible dining experience, so lucky to have such a gem in Roswell. We went with a large group and the restaurant was accommodating, the service was friendly and the food was incredible. The mushroom truffle pizza and the calamari Napoli were the stand out dishes for me and all of the pasta was incredible - the tortellini in vodka sauce was so rich and meaty and had so much flavor! Only minor complaints I had was the seafood in the cavatelli fruti da Mar was nothing special - small clams and shrimp and only a piece or two of calamari -overall not worth the price I wouldn’t order again but the cavatelli and the pesto were incredible and fresh and I would definitely get both again without the seafood also the tomatoes in the caprese salad were just alright -maybe they were just out of season - but they weren’t flavorful enough to be the star of a caprese salad. The burrata was so good though! These were such minor things but overall the dining experience was incredible and our server was so nice and attentive - she even brought a wine bottle holder over for flowers my fiancé was carrying to put on the table. Definitely coming back here since we live so close.

I have to say, this was honestly the worst experience my friends and I have ever had in a restaurant. Despite the fact that the sign said Closed, we tried the door and were able to make our way inside. We informed them that their sign said Closed, but they never changed it. Every couple that joined us that evening called from the front door asking where we were because the restaurant was "Closed". Okay, so now on to our server... this is honestly the best part. She had us questioning our own sanity. I think it started with our drink order. After each person's order, the server would try to leave the table without taking everyone's drink order, which seemed really odd. My wife and I asked for 2 different types of wine, but they didn't have either. The manager suggested 2 other types, so we said we'd try a glass of each. The server later returned to the table with 2 bottles of wine and 2 glasses for everyone at the table. So sure, a simple misunderstanding, we really just wanted a glass of each. However, we quickly realized this was going to be the theme for the evening. It went from beyond frustrating to almost comical. Without citing each event, I think the highlight was when someone asked for hot water. The server came back from the kitchen and said they couldn't make hot water. Seriously? We later asked if she could just heat up some water in the microwave, but she said she thought the glass may break. Were we really having this conversation? Later, somebody asked for their coffee to be reheated to suggest a possible solution and/or alternative to completely calling her out, but she still wasn't getting it. The food was par, and certainly didn't make up for the poor service and sheer incompetence throughout the evening. I think my dinner was the worst. I had a pizza which was black on the bottom (not charred, straight up burnt), cold and rubbery. It was quite obviously ready first, but left to sit while the remainder of the table's food was prepared. In the end, I agreed to a box for my uneaten pizza. I didn't want to be put in a position of answering whether or not there was an issue with the food, I just wanted to leave. Thinking back, I'm quite certain that question never would have been asked. My wife received a box as well... not sure why. She had a plate of empty mussel and clam shells from her seafood dish. Do people save those? Is that a thing? Seriously, if you plan on eating here, my recommendation would be to have a drink first, sit back, relax, and enjoy the comedy of errors. Cheers!

ZuZZu offers one of the best places to eat pizza, enjoy a cozy ambience, and scrumptious options for antipasti. We have eaten one of the best pizzas in Portugal in this entire World and we think that ZuZZu's pizza is close to that. Love when pizza dough melts in your mouth vs. A pizza dough that feels like a mattress which is hard to roll and gulp in your mouth. Reasonable pricing for amazing quality of ingredients used. We had the classic Margherita pizza with a spicy tomato homemade sauce - trust me, their pizza is better that Antico Pizza, Lucca Pizzeria, Fritti, Amazza, and many more mainstream places that you would know of. Go try their pizza, meatballs, and gnocchi - you will thank me later. We met the owner and he was extremely humble. He is from Rome, Italy. You will receive great service, the owner is usually around. All of the recipes on the menu are the owner's. We look forward to going here again as the owner promised to make us the best "veggie meatballs" we will ever have!

Ok but not great. I was excited to go back to Zuzzu’s to try their food once again, but left disappointed with the quality and service. I can tell now that they have changed owners it is not what it once was. The place is missing the charisma it had. The food was ok but not great as I tasted it before. There was way too much sauce and it was too salty; it overpowered the flavor completely of the meatballs and mussels in each of the plates we had. Also way to much Parmesan cheese, which I never asked for it, but it already came incredibly loaded with it. If someone would ask me to go back again I will probably pass on it. There are more competitive options around the area.

I hate using the phrase “hole in the wall” to describe a restaurant. Maybe “off the beaten path” is better. Whatever you want to call it, this restaurant is about as far from a chain restaurant as you can get. The service was not only excellent, it was personal. The food is fresh with a homemade taste … I think there must be a basement there with grandmas cranking out the pasta. Mere words don’t do the food justice; just go in and eat. Trust me.
