I was a 71 year old woman in search of my best self. Like a middle schooler who’s not quite sure of what their style is. I just moved to Roswell in Sept from NC. so I had to start over finding my most important people, like church, drs, dentist, HAIR SALON! Thankfully I met the fabulous team at Salon Bar. My first experience was with Ava for a wash and dry. Her only tools were her expertise and a brush and dryer. My hair has never been more perfectly smooth and satiny. My next visit was with Daina for a cut and color. Before we started the owner Tori met with the two of us to make the perfect plan for me to transition my graying hair into a natural looking color throughout. The final color was stunning! The hair cut was another story. Every strand of hair was considered in the cut. Tori (the owner) is a master at her craft. She’s a fabulous teacher and with her innate ability was able to help with some strategies for the perfect cut (again the only tools were scissors, brush, dryer and knowledge). This group of ladies are top notch. They get to know you and help you decide exactly what you need. They are thoughtful, energetic and genuinely kind. They are the best I’ve ever seen. You will walk into the salon as who you are, they will meet you at that point, but you’re guaranteed to come out the most fabulous you ever! Love these...

I just had a hair consultation for 30.00 and the lady did not touch my hair at all. I came and wanted to get microlinks so how can a stylist determine if you can get a service if they don't touch your hair to see how long it is. Such a scam crazy schedule and I feel more scammed than helped. A paying customer pays for a service if I go to a salon and someone doesn't examine my hair or treat it then why am I being charged. I guess this is the boujee area. A true hair consultation looks at the fibers of your hair and will determine what style suits you. A waste of time. I believe in karma and working in the service industry if you have bad practices you won't attract good blessings screwing people over isn't helping them in their hair journey. I am not sure how there are so many good reviews but it fooled me. I had high hopes but I was swindled!!! Tori and her colleagues should be ashamed of themselves. I had to drive almost 2 hours to get to the place and 2 hours to get home in rush hour traffic. So that says a lot for someone that just wanted to get their hair serviced. Or even evaluated. Now I talked to another hair stylist and they do real consultations. They wash and dry hair plus they even silk pressure hair but this lady didn't do anything to my hair. She didn't touch my hair. She act like if she touched my hair, she...

I visited on 3/31 for a 10am appointment to have my hair cut in a long bob and to dye my hair a chocolate brown with some highlights throughout. My hair was a few inches below my shoulders. After almost four hours and needing to make it to another appointment, I left with a blunt cut above my shoulders and my hair was wet. I had to show up to my next appointment disappointed and feeling embarrassed to have to walk around with this bad cut for however it long takes for it to grow back out. Worst of all, I’m the one that apologized for having to leave after spending hours in the chair and feel that because I notified them at about 12:30 pm that I had a 1:45 pm appointment that the haircut was on purpose.
