I've eaten at these places before and have never had a bad experience until today! For one the people on staff working, mainly Misty, were very unfriendly. Neither of them greeted me when I walked through the door or even looked up for that matter. I went ahead and ordered a classic sundae with fudge, no whip cream, no cherry. The young lady that assisted me seem to not know the menu, but went ahead and attempted to make my ice cream. As she was making it I noticed that the fudge was very hard and firm like it hasn't been stirred all day and was old. I asked why was the texture that way and the lady Misty stated that it was because the temperature was set at 140 degrees. Which absolutely made no sense to me. I said ok. Then I noticed that as she was trying to place the fudge in the cup it would even come off the dip spoon that they use. Quite hilarious if you ask me. She finished up by using the top of the cup to scrub the rest of what fudge she could get into the cup then dressed it with the peanuts that went on the top. I thought it was a pretty ugly cup of ice cream, but hey it after seven and I'm tired. So I paid for it then walked outside. As I stuck my spoon in the ice cream I noticed that the fudge was much harder than I thought. So I went back in a requested if I could change to something else since the fudge wasn't right. At that point she was trying to stir up the fudge or add something to it, which I she'd for from the beginning. Misty stated that they don't do that, it's not policy to give away ice cream. All I wanted at that point was some ice cream in a cup and she refused. I was a bit upset but tried to reason with her and then she said well I can remake what you ordered. But you can't just give me some ice cream in a cup I asked. She said no, if you don't like it, just throw it away! What a terrible way to treat a customer. So I just left the cup of ice cream on the counter and walked out the store. It was on $6 and I'm not pressed for cash but I sure would have like to had some ice cream on my way home. I will never go...
Read moreSo my 7 month pregnant self decided to finally get out of the house after hiding from covid this entire pregnancy. I decided I'd brave it out and get some ice cream. I had heard good things about Maggie Moo's and decided what the heck. Well I had never been there and had no clue how it worked. I asked for a cone with 2 scoops one was a strawberry mix and the other scoop of brownie batter. The gentleman told me I couldn't do that because one was they were 2 different types of base ice creams. I was like ok then just give me the strawberry mixed one in a waffle bowl. Then I go to pay and if course me being me decides to tip him 18% cuz we could all use a little help on these times. The little boy then proceeds to ask me, hey can I ask you a question. I said sure. He said did you read the sign that was outside where you parked. I said yea it said Maggie Moo's customers. He then gives me a sideways smirk and said "no it's only for curbside or delivery like doordash". I said oh I'm sorry I didn't read that exactly on the sign, I apologize, and again I'm given a smirk and a ugh. Well I go to my car and the sign reads:
Spot for Maggie Moo's customers, pick up and curbside delivery.
the customer part 🤔 was i NOT a paying customer??? Any who...I will be TELLING everyone and I do mean everyone I know in round rock (which I may add is quite a bit of people because I work as a director for a school) not to go to this place!!! I went for an ice cream and got served a side of snotty behavior, I wish I could take my service...

Parking is very easy to find as it’s located in a shopping center and having both indoor and outdoor seating is great as you can bring your dog. When inside we noticed how clean it was and it seemed like it was a popular spot as well. We ordered a chocolate scoop in a cup and a mint chocolate chip in a cone. We were also offered a pup cup for our dog, which was very nice and made us happy he was included in things. They have a good variety of flavors and toppings there to choose from so you can customize things to your liking.
The price was as expected for a smaller, seemingly family owned place. The service was good so it seemed a bit more fair considering that. We sat outside since we had our dog with us and jumped right into our ice cream and it was great. The texture of the ice cream is perfect and the flavors are not over sweet or off like some places can be at times. Rather, between the hot Texas sun and the cool ice cream, it felt like the perfect way to cap off a Saturday. We don’t live too close by but if we’re ever in the area again, we would happily stop by and support Maggie Moo’s and...
