We visited the new Outback location on Saturday, August 16th, to celebrate with our family. Outback has always been our go-to steakhouse, so we were excited to try this location. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from start to finish.
We joined the waitlist through the app for a party of six, but when we arrived at 7 p.m. the hostess told us they “do not take reservations.” We were confused because we hadn’t made a reservation—we used the official waitlist feature in the app. Instead of being seated, we were told the app is “just a call-ahead” and were made to wait another 40 minutes for a table. At that point, we were already frustrated and wondered what the purpose of the app even is if it isn’t respected.
When we were finally seated, we noticed several other tables walking out, clearly upset with how long they had been waiting. No one explained the delays or gave us a heads-up about the situation. We ordered drinks and appetizers, which came out fine, but when it came to the main food, we waited almost an hour and a half before it arrived. That was unacceptable on top of the long wait we had already endured just to be seated.
The only bright spot was our waiter. He was kind, attentive, and did his best to keep us comfortable. Honestly, we could tell he was embarrassed—he even had another big party walk out during the same time. He admitted he was running back and forth trying to help in the kitchen himself just to keep things moving. He did everything he could, but the situation was clearly out of his hands.
Overall, this visit was a huge letdown for us. We came here excited to celebrate, but instead spent most of the night waiting. We hope management takes these issues seriously because we’ve always preferred Outback over other steakhouses, but this experience really made us second-guess...
Read moreWe have been eagerly anticipating the opening for several weeks. Upon our visit, we were not disappointed, as the owner, Dexter, and his staff exceeded our expectations. This Outback Steakhouse provided one of the finest dining experiences we have encountered in a considerable time. Upon entering, a team welcomed us and promptly guided us to our seats. The atmosphere was exceptional, radiating positive energy from the staff and patrons alike.
Natalie served as our server, and her engagement made us feel as though we were the only guests in the establishment. The cohesiveness of the team was evident, as they worked collaboratively to ensure that each guest had an extraordinary experience. Rayonna and Tyrese were responsible for serving our meals, and they ensured that each guest received the correct dishes while remaining attentive to individual needs. At the conclusion of our meal, Natalie took the time to verify the accuracy of our bills. Our entire party rated this Outback Steakhouse a 10 out of 10.
It is often challenging to find both quality food and excellent service, yet every individual at our table expressed satisfaction. The owner personally visited our table to engage with us and confirm that we were enjoying our experience. Additionally, Mr. Dontay, one of the managers, took the time to greet our table, which further underscored the attention to detail we experienced.
Consequently, we returned the following week, as my husband particularly enjoyed the steak. Although we missed the presence of Ms. Rayonna and Mr. Dexter, the service we received from Rod, Nick, Mardasia, Natalie, and Sofia was exemplary. We encourage the team to continue their...
Read moreMediocre at best. I wanted to give it 2 stars, but I felt that would've been too harsh for a new location. We came in and were greeted by about 10 people as they had just opened for the first time. It was truly a coincidence that we stopped by as we have never been to an outback. The lady at front told us we could tell our server that we could get a free blooming onion since it was our very first time to ANY outback for that matter. Once we get to the table we tell her about this offer and she said that we have to be a rewards member to recieve it and that I would be for next time only despite what the other lady at the front said. We ordered our drinks and were good. Some sort of spicy mixed beverage and their recommended house beer. We then decided to order the fried mushrooms. Wish I could say they were good, but they never showed up. We ordered our food. We gave it a taste. Flavor was good for my center cut 11 oz sirloin, but it was way too tough for the price we paid. My wife got the chimichurri filet mignon, which was also a letdown. It was kind of bland. I had a side of Brussel sprouts that came with bacon and a whole cup of grease mixed into it. My kids got chicken and fries, so I'm sure that was the best dish by far. I can name 2 places in a couple of miles that are by far way better than this place. Won't ever return to...
