In RE: Blakeney Sanders' review- this sadly confused gentleman actually compared Jason's Deli to a flipping SUBWAY?! Sir, may I suggest that you stop and think before you write a GROSSLY inaccurate review? Maybe consider stopping and asking yourself whether you are writing a horrid and inaccurate review because you have some other " issues" that every person reading them will see right through. Did it ever occur to you that perhaps the person serving you KNOWS how to make the sandwich, but is attempting to CUSTOMIZE IT TO YOUR PARTICULAR TASTE? Sounds like SERVICE to me. You want a stamped and copied sandwich you have no options with, go to McDonald's. Rant over- my original review below...
Don't trust the menu on this site- go to Jason's Deli's official site and see the amazing array of sandwiches, soups, indescribable salad bar and desserts. I don't live here anymore and while I do NOT miss the traffic- I miss Jason's! Try the Ham Muffaletta- an olive lover's addiction. Not to be missed: broccoli cheese soup which is the best ANYWHERE. Salad Bar is not quite accurate- because aside from the freshest, best quality standard/extended salad fare, what Jason's ACTUALLY HAS is more akin to a Tapas Bar minus the tiny dishes. Following my thrice yearly trip to D/FW, Hubby and I feasted on Muffalletta, Broccoli Cheese Soup and a Salad bar trip that yielded fire roasted hummus, Mediterranean Couscous Salad, Roasted Corn w/ black bean chutney, Ziti w Feta and blue cheese w/ sun dried tomatoes, various delicious pasta salads, TWO artisanal potato salads. Fantastic accoutrements and just when I thought I'd be branded forever a glutton and decided to stop, I was done in by simply SINFUL CHOCOLATE MOUSSE! We took home what we couldn't eat, ending up w two more meals apiece. I intend to pen a strongly worded email to my hometown chamber of commerce regarding the lack of a Jason's in San Angelo while we have McAllisters! YUM, yum and YUM! Rowlett location gets five stars...Lori and...

Read moreLadies that work the front counter and server were rude for no reason at all. Dismissive and unprofessional. They talk to one another through their headset about the customers and when approached about my order that took 15mins they kept saying they will be with me but disappeared. I saw my food sitting out there for a while waiting for someone to serve it until I approached the sandwich maker myself and verified it was mine. I have been to other locations but this one by far was my worst experience. I had an elderly lady with me who has hearing and vision problems, she asked Jesslyn about a specific dish and she responding by saying, she’s only been here for 2 months so idk…not accommodating at all. To top that off, they got our order wrong twice, after biting into a sandwich they just came and took it off our table. I know what it’s like working in a restaurant and it takes a great deal of patience and professionalism which is why I tried my very best to be kind but even with that, I didn’t think we gave anyone any reason to be rude towards us. Tuesday, New Year’s Eve @1pm, I hope they...
