I've never had a good experience with this location, they've always moved to their own beat rather then being like any of the other locations I've been to (I've been to almost every location from Brigham to 13th and redwood) but every time I have come to the Roy location (which is over 6 times) I've had something worse happen to me then the last so therefore I will never go to the Roy location and possibly another location from this chain restaurant. They have changed from when it was betos sooo much. The customer service is outright horrible. I went here for lunch today and sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes!!!!!!!!!! It took every ounce of self control for me to not drive up front and go into the store and make a fool of everyone working there and myself especially!!! After about 6-7 min I wanted a explanation but waving my hands to the lady that took my money didn't get her to open the window so I honked my car horn (without looking to irrational) I still couldn't get anyone to attend to me. Then finally after 15!!! yes 15!!!!!!! Minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!! The rude guy that took my order over the speaker back at the menu partially opened the window and handed my food to me like a coward. I would've been fine if I got any explanation, even if they said "hey we are backed up inside so it might be a little longer". I would've turned my radio on and chilled but when I get less than substandard service from the menu to the window then get ignored and given over cooked and extremely fatty meat then damn straight I'm going to speak my mind or make a fool of myself in public (and since I wasn't dressed to go in any where) I'm speaking my mind and rating you exactly how it should be. And if I could give negative stars as rating I definitely would because the Roy location has been less then lackluster for over 15 years. And the red sauce at this location is like red water, it has no taste or spice to it, it's like tomato soup with a lot of water in it. THIS ROY LOCATION IS THE WORST LOCATION BY FAR. And the sad part is I don't see myself going to any rancheritos because this location keeps...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food here is great! Attitudes are not the best. Went there tonight and ordered 3 Texano burritos (2 smothered) and 3 quesadilla kids meals. The lady handed me three bags of food! Got home and ended up with 4 Texano burritos (2 smothered), 3 kids meals and a 1/2 pint of beans and one of rice.
I did not receive a receipt and even stayed at the window waiting for the lady to come back and she never did. We ate our food and saved the extras for leftovers. Checked my credit card charges later and found out they charged me $64.16!
I went back to the Roy store and tried knocking on the window to see if we could talk about this problem. Didn't happen. I tried calling and no one would answer the phone. I went through the drive thru and told the guy on the speaker and he said there was nothing he could do without a receipt!
How do I know what you ordered, he replied.
I will tell you what I ordered and you could tell me if the price was right, I said.
He asked me how long its been and I said a couple of hours. It would've been longer if I hadn't of checked my credit card pending charges.
He said it's been too long and he had no way of knowing what I ordered!
I was stuck in the drive thru and when I approached the window I stopped and talked to him again. He was a little easier to talk to but insisted the price was right. He pretended to re-ring my order but I could tell he wasn't touching the keys.
He said, "The prices on the drive up menu were wrong and have been raised". Burritos are now $10 each and it's $3 to have them smothered, he said. 4 burritos for $40?!! They are not that GOOD!!
Maybe the lady fat fingered the buttons and it was supposed to be $46.16?
I will not be back to THIS...

After getting it and dropping my daughters off she called me and sent a pic of the burrito and it was just a meat burrito nothing else. So I knew my nephews was the same, so instead of going home to pick up her burrito we just turned around and went back to rancheritos and I took his in and showed him the picture of the other one and he was so rude and said I said it wrong because he hears perfectly fine, and i wasnāt even blaming him or anything, and I was not rude at all, i said I know we said carne asada fry burrito and he just snapped back and said rudely no I didnāt and I said I wasnāt trying to be rude or argue I just want the correct order and he said no cuz he needs the other burrito and I said that one had already been opened and touched and he said yeah but he wants to throw it away I explained I had dropped it off and he said he wonāt fix it until I go get it.. so I went back to get the burrito and show him I was not lying and he didnāt even look, he just grabbed them from me and tossed them right in the garbage.. he would rather waste two huge carne asada burritos then think heās been ācheatedā I love this rancheritos and have been going there my whole life but Iām very disappointed in how rude this one worker was. I want him to know mistakes happen and I was not rude at all and you canāt get 100% of all the orders correct all the time and I wouldnāt expect them to, mistakes happen weāre human...
