Last night after driving home for 3 hours my family and guest were hungry. I said we'll order a pizza from Hungry Howie on a 11 mile in Royal Oak. It's one of my favorite places to order out. I ordered a large The Works - one large Pepsi and a cinnamon roll for desert... This time however, instead if picking it up - I had it delivered. They said 20 minutes.. The pizza arrived almost an hour later - the delivery man had the wrong Pepsi - Cherry, and forgot the cinnamon roll. When I opened the box - the pizza was burnt. I called and complained - they said they'd make a new one. I said no - we're not going to wait another hour. We were so hungry we just ate what we could. I had two pieces and couldn't eat no more. About an hour later - I felt sick to my stomach - with cold flashes. I started vomiting. I was sick until 7 am the following morning. If you would like to look up Ken Wright - in Royal Oak - you'll see orders going back as far as 2008 - My parents are in their 80s. I am the one who orders all the pizza's to this house... NOT ANYMORE. I'll never order anything from them again.. It's 6 pm and the following day and I am still feeling sick. This was food poisoning - those who ate it all felt their stomachs rolling... I should have gone up to Beaumont last night.. We made an official complaint to the company... Will we hear...
Read moreIts actually hard for me to rate the pizza since we could not order. 3 of us tried to order the .45 & 1.00 on-line special last Thursday evening 9-13-18. We were meeting at a nearby business & tried to order. Since it wouldn't go through we tried from 3 different phones using both codes. After trying several times I called the store & was told its an on-line order. As I explained we were trying as we spoke & told him it would not work & what came up on phone, he repeatedly told me the same thing. I asked to speak to a mgr & he said he was the mgr. I asked his name..Jason he said, & I asked if he was the mgr why he couldn't fix it or just give us the price advertised. He said he could not. It resulted in me saying I was calling corporate & was ordering from another pizzeria, which I did. I explained everything to Jack at corporate & he will contact owner. I asked if they could honor prices or send coupons for the hassle & Jack said it would be up to the owner. So if I don't get a response or answer as to why the coupon codes wouldn't work or why mgmt could not figure out how to help the customer, we WILL be ordering from another pizzeria from now on. Just to make it clear...I'm mostly upset about the customer service!! A mgr should always be able to problem solve & take their time to get repeat customers...not...
Read moreEn route to pick up the gift for our hockey coach, I had to make a stop at Hungry Howie's on 11 Mile in Royal Oak, MI. Why? Because their female driver ran the red light at Campbell and Lincoln. I was stopped at the red light on Lincoln, waiting to turn left. The light turned green and all of a sudden, a small silver car w/ the Hungry Howie's sign on top. She was going well over 40 MPH and blew threw the intersection. She stopped at the Mobil station at 11 Mile and Campbell...going my way...I stopped at the Hungry Howie's and the "manager" More like a young kid who couldn't care less, had this response: "Sorry Ma'am. We'll talk to her. This type of thing happens all the time." I said "Your DRIVERS RUN RED LIGHTS ALL THE TIME?!?!??!?!" HE said "They are their own people." I said: "YES. REPRESENTING YOUR COMPANY" At that point, I saw her pull in to the parking lot and I didn't want to confront her, She better count her blessings that the kids weren't in the car at the time. I am not satisfied and was appalled with the nonchalant attitude. He wouldn't take my name or number to call me back and let me know how this is being remedied. I will not ever order from them again. Lord knows, I wish no one would...I don't want their drivers on the same...
