We went there last night. My suggestion for a friends get together of 9. Had been here three times, good food, and zero issues. However, this time we all arrived. Was sitting in the back corner to the left. Across from a table of workers who were very loud and we couldn’t even talk to each other. Requested to be moved. Our waitress so gracious she moved us. Our waitress was the best ever. We ordered. Received our soup, salads and meals basically all at once for the exception of two in our group who didn’t receive their soups until we already received our entries. That not even really being the issue. Our issues were when the bill came. We questioned why everyone’s bill was $6.54 or more extra. When one of the people in our party questioned it when she went up to pay her bill, another waitress, not ours got very rude and said “There’s an 18% gratuity on each bill of 8 or more because people like you don’t like to tip!” Our guest was so upset with her response she asked to speak to the owner. A women came out and said she was the owner, just as mouthy, and another customer said she was not the owner but a manager. Our guest said I was just inquiring about the bill, and a simple answer would have been good enough without the waitress adding her rudeness. The so called women owner told our guest she could leave and never come back! I was appalled. I have never been in a situation where a store or restaurant ever spoke to a customer that way! Our bill collectively was over $235 dollars. Not only did we pay our bill with the gratuity, we gave our waitress an additional tip of over 20 dollars. It’s not her fault she works with rude people. We will NEVER be back. I tried to call there today and asked for the owner whose name is Col. A women who I spoke to said he couldn’t speak because he was busy. I will keep...
Read morePatio seating, bar seats since the original Inn Season and more dining area in the adjacent building. Decent layout and looks fresh and new.
We were unfortunately seated at one of the three two-tops in the main walkway to the kitchen and dining areas. We were bombarded with staff and guests on
Molly was supposed to be waiting on us, but another waitress ended up waiting on us instead. Ok.
Ordered green tea, black coffee, avocado scrambler with added mushrooms, whole grain toast, Super Bowl, added blueberries, cinnamon raisin toast, added cream cheese and side of turkey sausage. $58.96
They ran out of oat milk and have no flavored creamers, we were told they are basic here.
The black coffee was okay, not exactly what my husband was hoping for this morning. My Tazo green tea was quite weak and tasted like water. Should have been a bag for a cup and not steeped in the pot, was too watered down.
Quite relaxed here. One staffer was drinking Mimosa at the bar, while the bartender was eating a plate of food at the bar socializing with a customer and a colleague.
My husband didn’t like their whole grain toast much, didn’t eat more than a bite. The whole top of the toast was burnt.
The Super Bowl was okay, the fruit was nice.
The avocado scramble was good with added mushrooms.
The cinnamon raisin under the sweets on the menu is not a side of cinnamon toast as I was hoping for, it’s a full on brunch meal of cinnamon raisin French toast. My eyes went wide as she placed it on the table. The cream cheese was softened too, not what I wanted either. I think the menu needs to he updated to reflect it’s a French toast and not a side of toast at all. Don’t order on the fly and look at the menu closely and don’t feel...
Read moreNot only was my order handed to me in the same hand as a woman holding a cigarette, but the shrimp and fries that I ordered were undercooked and not up to safety standards. When I called the restaurant I was yelled at and hung up on by the individual who answered the phone after being told to bring the food back up and to be issued a refund. When I arrived the doors were locked and upon knocking a kind gentleman let me inside and attempted to do the refund for me. He stated he wasn’t sure how to do the refund and asked a coworker for help. A young woman (the daughter of the lady who yelled at me over the phone) came over and I then interacted with both the daughter and the mother. I was verbally harassed by the mother and daughter before being chased out of the building and being physically assaulted by the daughter. It’s one thing to be served undercooked food, and it’s another to receive undeniably unprofessional and poor customer service and to be abused on top of that. And to give context I called and presented my concern with a friendly tone. I’ve previously frequented this location for breakfast with my family and have not had an issue, however, take out from this establishment is hit or miss and there is a 50-50 chance the food I receive is undercooked, I’ve just never called or done anything about it until now. Will I return to this business? Certainly not for my own business. I wish all well and good luck...
