McDonald's — Restaurant in Royal Oak

I've been going to this McDonald's for 13 yrs & I've never ever had a problem until JUST recently! one manager named Nicole {very young, "tries" (fakes) to be nice🤦 incompetent, was NOT trained properly!} completely lied to my face! completely lied about me right in front of my face! all bcuz the brand new, young, incompetent, rude {actually hollared at me!} untrained, unaware employee clearly was never told "HOW" to be nice & friendly working at MacDonald's & being taught how important customers actually are lol. if it weren't for customers... MacDonald's would NOT be. they refused to serve me that day. I guess I was being punished lol. so bottom line is after 13 yrs of business {I have kids😃} of going there at least weekly... I vow to never step one foot back in there or ever giving that particular store a dime of my money anymore-the 9 mile & John R location. Nicole absolutely refused to give her name, the employee name to me, Nicole refused to ALLOW the male manager who was sitting in the office {I could see him!} to speak with him as I did ask nicely & calm. Nicole even faked writing down the store number! do u believe that???🤷 she smart mouthingly said she'd write it... handed me a folded bag as if she wrote it but after the police left {yes the police were called bcuz I did park my car & turned it off in the drive thru lane at 2nd window😯 I know I shouldn't of but when I was told I would not be serviced that day I was acting a fool & sarcastically said "O no? you're not going serve me? well I'll stay until you do! oops🤷 I did pull around after 1 minute} bcuz all workers ignored me as I did ask; "could you plz take my order?" I seen Nicole so I'm sure she told them to ignore me🤦 so ya I'd watch it carefully & always check your bag BEFORE stepping away from the counter or BEFORE pulling away from pick up window. the 9 mile & John R store is only blocks from my house. I'm older {50 something👍🏿}& have worked with the public all of my life & I was raised from 15 on how to be ur kindest, calmest, customer ALWAYS right, bcuz you never know {if the customer is rude & I most certainly was not!} you just never know what kind of day they're having or what's going on in their life... could be anything but the moral of the story is; "If It Weren't For Each & Every Customer Walking Through That Door We WOULDN'T Be In Business"💚 thanks to my grandfather who taught me well {GOD...

As a frequent Woodward visitor I like to stop and get food at this specific unique McDonald’s because I always bring me friends here to see Woodward, however, almost every time I come in I am always waiting an absurd amount of time, treated piss poorly, and the overall atmosphere given by the employees is awful. Brought 2 friends in to order a quick bite to eat before we headed home, ended up waiting 20 minutes and told I WAS IN THE WRONG because they didn’t say anything when my food was done. As a current McDonald’s employee I straight up told the manager I wanted my money back and I worked at one and this shouldn’t ever happen, she then rudely put my food not on the counter, but on top of the nasty old sweet tea container saying “have a good day” in a snotty tone, where I then again said, “I don’t want the food, I want my money.” And she just kept having more and more attitude, let’s not forget I was told the inside was closed and the same manager brought her personal family and friends in and were all Loud and having a good time inside the locked store, sad to see such a nice establishment run by a bunch of people who have no manners, If you want to be treated bad and have slow service in a nice building, this is right place to come, otherwise, pay a little more to eat real food I’d highly...

This McDonald's must be owned by the biggest cheapskate on the planet. My husband and I took our 4 kids there. Our order was about $30. Part of that order was 30 chicken McNuggets. We got 6 sauces. We asked for a few extra and were told that it was 50 cents for each sauce. WHAT???!!! Then I asked for a water cup. I kid you not, it was about 3 inches in height!! SERIOUSLY? Then I asked if they had mayonnaise packets and was told that we had to pay for those, too!!! UNBELIEVABLE!

Next, we were given 4 napkins for 6 people. We definitely needed more so I went to the drink machine and LO AND BEHOLD! There weren't any!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? And the clencher? Surveillance cameras at the drink machine!!!

Last, but not least, no military discount. So, no supporting our own country's military. Military that defends the freedom of the owner of this McDonald's. PATHETIC!! There are plenty of McDonald's that don't charge for extra sauces, give a water cup bigger than 3 oz., you are allowed to get your own napkins, not made to feel like a criminal at the drink machine with cameras in your face, AND give military discounts (like the one in Mt. Clemens! GREAT McDonald's!).
