Worst MCDONALD'S STAFF EVER! Hate I can't give -5 stars they earned -20 stars.
I attempted to dine from here 7/31/24. Unfortunately, their staff is incompetent in how the McDonald's APP works
I came and tried to use my app to get free fries with a code. I had to give 2 codes. I gave one and the person said I had already used it, probably because she entered it 4 times. As she entered it the check mark appeared . So I refreshed my app and got another code gave it and she said she couldn't understand me...to drive around I face to face gave her the code and she said it applied my offer. She never confirmed my code was for free fries however, the check appeared again next to my offer for free fries. I wasn't at an order screen to confirm so I had to take her word for it. I placed my order, paid, picked up, checked my bag no fries. They then told me I didn't order fries. I said I didn't "order" fries they were free with my app, 2 employees argued with me over how I didn't know how to order. I can't see what they put on the screen inside the store. However, something was wrong Wednesday afternoon and someone didn't know how to enter app codes. I use this daily NOT at this location. So it's an issue with staff here. Two of the employees were VERY argumentive and made me angry. I asked for a refund and they wanted me to pull forward I refused until I got my refund. Of course I gave the food back and eventually got my refund. Someone needs to train your staff on how the app codes and free fries offer works. Then they went on to tell me I was rude. Seems like a customer that gave one code 4 times, refreshed the app and got another code, they couldn't use at the speaker, had to drive around and give it to her face to face and she said it applied was pretty calm and patient. Seems like I was pretty patient with her issues. If it applied I would have gotten my free fries. Both times on my app the check mark appeared showing the offer was used. So I think this restaurant needs serious help. I will not return here. The young guy was the nicest, but the rest of the employees from this experience need to be trained on CUSTOMER SERVICE!! They were RUDE and...
Read moreWe were there on Saturday evening, March 18th and noticed the hours on the door showed the dining room would be closing soon so we decided not to go in. The female night shift manager (she gave me her name but I forgot what it is) motioned for us to come on in. We were hesitant due to the time but she was adamant that it was ok and to come on in. She offered to take our order versus making us use the annoying kiosk which was greatly appreciated. She was very courteous, personable and provided excellent customer service. I hope upper management will look at the schedule to identify the night shift manager I'm referring to and acknowledge her positive impact to the Rural Hall McDonald's. I really hope they keep her there because that location needs someone like her!! And, by the way, our meal was good too. đ
On the flip side, we were there a few months ago for breakfast and wanted to place our order with a human versus the kiosk. The female manager would not allow us to do that and directed us to the annoying kiosk. Too bad Hardee's is no longer in Rural Hall or else we would've definitely left this McDonald's and went there. As we were waiting for our to-go order, a customer walked in and went to the counter where the same female manager abruptly told her to use the kiosk. The customer said, "I only want a coffee" but the rude female manager told her she had to order at the kiosk. Me and my husband, along with the female customer and several people who were standing close by waiting for their orders, were in disbelief that she had been treated like that over a simple cup of coffee. The female customer said forget it and left without ordering.
So, the night shift manager we met last night has the customer service skills that all employees there who interact with customers need to...
Read moreWhen I say that I have never, in all of my 53 years of life, I mean I have NEVER!!!! Pulled to speaker to order at 10:44pm. Ordered a quarter pounder with cheese and a double cheeseburgerâŚ.nothing special and didnât even ask to have one without onions. I was told they could only sell me fried items since they were closing in 7 minutes. I began asking questions and was asked to pull around to the window. Head Manager Jessica began telling me they wouldnât sell a quarter pounder because they didnât have anyâŚ..as in (because I specifically asked) they had none in the store. Was also told they had no regular hamburger patties (for the double cheeseburger) eitherâŚas in they had none in the store. Again I specifically asked that and was told they had none. They had already cleaned the grill and she was refusing to cook what I was trying to order. She repeatedly told me she could sell me only fried food, and that they were closing in 7 minutes. I asked what time they closed and she said â11-ishâ. At this time it was 10:46pm. Let me just say thisâ-I worked at McDonald's all through high school and college. If I had EVER spoken to a customer the way she (a âhead managerâ) spoke to me, Iâd have been fired on the spot!!!!!! So I drove a few miles down the road to McDonald's on University Pkwy (at Hanes Mill Rd) and drove away with a quarter pounder with cheese, a double cheeseburger and an order of fries. I WILL NEVER SPEND $1.00 OF MY MONEY AT THE McDonalds IN RURAL HALL, NC...
