I was excited to try this place and had heard positive things. I ordered a hot16oz Chai with an espresso shot (I get the same thing everytime I go out for coffee) and then was upsold a canolli. It was $12, more expensive than Starbucks, and both items were not even consumable. The chai tasted like room temperature chocolate milk ( keep in mind its supposed to be chai...like what??) I was in such need of my Friday midday caffeine fix that I took multiple drinks trying to see if it would get better or if my tastebuds would eventually surrender to this torture, neither happened. I ended up trying to give this drink away to a friend, and after tasting it, my friend declined. 🗑 Next, the canolli, I've eaten canollis before and always liked then but this....this was stale pastry haphazardly wrapped in equate cling wrap, covered in powered sugar that went EVERYWHERE when I tried to take a bite, half dipped in untempered chocolate and the filling omg the filling was this semi translucent white sugar paste with about 1 million many chocolate chips in it. Inedible. This also went into the trash. I was honestly afraid that I was going to get sick after visiting, I didn't. I guess the $12 was worth not having to wonder if this place is good or not, because let me tell you right now it's not worth the hassle of getting off of the road to go there. 0/5 for...

Delicious! 😋 It’s become a Saturday morning routine to enjoy Pour House Coffee in Russell, KY, before running errands. Iced and frozen versions are my favorite, especially the Mocha or Black & White, while my husband likes the hot Mocha Latte. I highly recommend saying yes to toppings on your beverages if you like whipped cream and a generous drizzle of syrup. The drive-thru location is fast, courteous, and runs like a well-oiled machine. It makes me happy to see a line of cars, because I know others are enjoying this fantastic cafe, too. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the product is exceptional. They have excellent muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls, and cake pops, too. They love to greet furry friends and treat them to a special cup all their own - we called ours a “kitty cup” for our precious Fred! Their new cafe is located across the parking lot and is a terrific addition to their already booming business. Since you’ve read this far, you should...
Read moreWOW...I mean just WOW! This coffee shop is the Real Macoy! Landon and Mason took very good care of us on Memorial Day! Landon’s Cold Brew was like “KAPOW, WHAMO, ZONK!” That badboy was totally Bananas-Strong...the way it’s supposed to be! Mason’s Matcha Green Tea Frappe was like drinking a sweet green cloud...what the WHAT?! Dang, that was some extraterrestrial tastiness! We were on our way back to Alabama and baristas like them are the reason this a must stop before starting our trip every time we come to Ashland. Not sure what the guy’s name was who was working with Landon on Saturday...but he totally hooked up my iced Americano. Call the cops, because a mix that good has got to be illegal in all 50 states! Seriously the best Americano I’ve ever had! Look...if you’re getting your coffee anywhere else, you’re WRONG! Support local small biz and get some knock-your-block-off coffee at the same...
