Went with friends. The place only had a couple other tables and we had a slow eater who was still working on her meal. For some reason, every employee working there stood around mean mugging our table. Even after we were outside. I turned around and a group was just standing there. Staring at us.Like something from the twilight zone. I smiled and they gave no response. It really made us extremely uncomfortable and we won't be back. I've never seen staff that just stands there and stares at people before. I'd definitely have a chat with my employees about this. Seriously, there was nothing wrong with the group. We found the restaurant while randomly wandering around the Ashland area. The first clue that we should stop here for lunch was that there were several work trucks in the parking lot. By which I mean, trucks that definitely belonged to crews of people doing honest, hard work for people in the community. We figured, if those guys are choosing this particular Mexican restaurant, they must know something for sure.

I just want to focus on the chunky guacamole, freshly made to order. It was absolutely amazing. Both of us said it was the most delicious guacamole we have EVER tasted. The restaurant allowed our dog on the patio. I had quesadilla and birria. But the funny anecdote that most people with restaurant experience have involved their menu.

While ordering I made a quick switch because the birria I overlooked caught my eye. Well, I wound up with the scratched out order in the chef's ticket line as well as birria. Wasn't billed for it.
