McDonald's — Restaurant in Ruston

So the restaurant looks pretty but the fact that the employees think it's proper to ignore the customers just because they were the only ones in the store is in my opinion rude. What upset me was the girl behind the cash register with a green McDonald's shirt and a jacket and shoulder length dreads was behind the counter and I went up to see if I could get a refill on a drink b/c with COVID I didn't even know I could get a refill and I heard another person behind the corner say "is that her" to which the girl with the dreads said yeah and then no one came to the counter. So I walk away I'm upset because I was clearly ignored so my husband goes up there with the drink comes back with it refilled then proceeds to tell me "yes they were ignoring you because when I went up there the two girls were behind the counter laughing saying something about you then when they saw him the girl goes "is that her again"" then trys to ignore him when the other girl goes no it's the guy". Then they proceed to start laughing unnecessarily loud threw out the rest of the meal so that me and my husband could hear because they were now making fun of me because I made my husband go up and get the drink. Poor...

Of those dozens of McDonalds I've visited over my 19 years, this is by far the slowest one I've ever been to. It is the most consistently slow fast food franchise I've ever visited more than once. I waited about 3 minutes at the microphone to order, then waited in line for 15 minutes behind 3 cars. When I got to the window, I waited another 5 minutes to get my 10 piece chicken nuggets. The man in the window was frantically walking all over the kitchen, begging for someone to get him a 10 piece. They also didn't have any Coke and flatout didn't bother to quickly change out the bag of syrup for it that's legit 15 feet away. No apology for the wait or for not having any Coke, either. I did get another drink, though. Anyway, if you want to go to McDonalds in Ruston, please, for the love of all things holy, don't come within 500 yards of this one. Go to the one off the interstate, even if that one is significantly farther away. I would be willing to bet my first born child you could drive there, order, get your food, and drive back home before you even got your food at this one. Sad that they just renovated this McDonalds because they have the WORST service I've ever...

Ate lunch in there today. First off, stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order, while the 2 cashiers at the counter stood there poorly pretending to clean the ice cream machine. Went to the kiosk and ordered. Sat down with the table locator tent the kiosk instructed me to use, only to have them rudely yell out my order twice before I could even get out of my chair. Ketchup dispenser was empty so I asked one of the rude women for some packets. She hands me 2 whole ketchup packets for my large cold and unsalted fries. Then looks at me as if I'm taking money from her pocket asking for them. My double quarter pounder with cheese, I wouldn't have fed to my dog. And lastly, the burger flipper guy sitting in the corner talking obnoxiously loud to his baby mamma about how he never has to do any work and avoids work as much as he can was just a solid reminder of the sense of pride and customer service the crew lacks at this location. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone! One star only because there's no zero...
