I ordered food it took them about 30-45 minutes to deliver it and it came out to be the wrong order. So I call back and tell them I need my order fixed lady on the phone is yelling tellin me that’s what I ordered when clearly I did not order chicken at all. I dont trust there meat only the shrimp. So after about 5 minutes she tells me she’s going to send me another order... a whole hour passes ever since they delivered the wrong item n I’m still waiting for my correct order! I keep callin and they answer and hang up. I called about 5 times and also contacted the deliver driver and he is also rude tellin me to wait an extra 30 minutes. Lady behind the counter was very friendly but the food was overpriced. I called the order in ahead of time I ordered a shrimp fried rice and two spring rolls. When I got there the lady said it was $18! 🤯🤯 I was taken back by the price a bit but I paid for it anyway because the portions were pretty large. Spring rolls were ok but I was VERY disappointed by the shrimp fried rice it had absolutely no flavor and just chopped onions in it definitely not like most other restaurants where there is actually more to the fried rice like some veggies and even eggs. Hop Hing Kitchen has been a fixture on Park Avenue in Rutherford for decades. It is the textbook definition of a takeout establishment, with no eat in facilities whatsoever. Even with the fact that you have to take your food on the run, their food quality has not dissipated at all.
