My partner and I had an amazing time here. My partner is diabetic and I have ARFID, so we both live with dietary restrictions that can make eating a challenge. Because of this, I don't often get to enjoy my food. For me, eating is often a chore, but not at Pizza Kitchen. Im not exaggerating when I say my meal brought happy tears to my eyes.
We were seated and served by Manuel. He was so friendly, his service was fast, I didn't have to ask for a second drink, he was incrediblyaccommodating. He made us both feel welcome and at ease.
He and the chef, Gonzalo, were more than happy to make an adjustment to my order. Manuel made sure we enjoyed our food, and has boxes ready before we asked.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was calm and inviting, the music was good, and it wasn't too loud. Overall, a very pleasant experience, even for someone with sensory issues such as myself.
The drinks were delicious, and they had my favorite brand of root beer in stock, which is always a plus. The food came fast, was nice and hot when it arrived, and was delicious.
I wanted to let Manuel know how much my meal meant to me, and you could tell that the feedback meant a lot to him.
After that, our chef, Gonzalo, came to thank us personally for the compliments. I get the sense that he takes a lot of pride in his work, which is exactly what you want in the person making your food.
I only wish I could have left this review on their websitedirectly. Alas, I misplaced my receipt and therefore the link to provide a more direct review.
Needless to say, we will be back soon! Could not recommend this place enough. Thank you Manuel and Gonzalo for a...
Read moreI was really disappointed with the service I got here. My family told me great things about it but me and my party of 7 had a difficult time. It was a fairly busy so we didn't mind the long waits. Fast forward to the end our dinner we ask for separate checks. None of our orders were complex in any way. When she brought back the separate receipts we placed our cards neatly so she wouldn't get confused. She came and picked it up. I watched her throw the tab down. So I really hoped none our receipts were mixed. 5-10min later she comes back because she was lost and confused. She asked to retake our orders we said yes. She took our orders again. She gave us our cards back so she can re print the receipts. We get the receipts, and 4 out of the 7 of us were being charged for things we didn't eat. It was beyond ridiculous. We try and wave her over to tell her about the mistake. We ended waiting about 10min. Finally she comes back we respectfully tell her the mistakes. It was clearly to see she was getting frustrated with the situation. She retakes the 4 orders. This time around every thing seemed good. So organized our debit cards and gave her the tab again. By this time we were just ready to leave the restaurant but she makes another mistake. I WAS CHARGED TWICE FOR THIS 51 DOLLAR MEAL. I kindly told her there is a problem "I was charged twice" enough was enough we all suggested after the THIRD mistake she needed to get her manager. So to solve the problem the manager voided all of our payments. And we had to repeat the process. In all honesty I never had a problem like this at any restaurant I really wish it could have gone a...
Read moreWe came to have lunch about 11:30 a.m. We were seated immediately by the unhappy faced hostess. Our server Christine was a 180 from her. Very personable and friendly. Asked us if we wanted to start off with something from the bar: mimosa, beer? Which sounded yummy, but not in the mood for. We had ice water which she promptly came back with along with some freshly baked baguette slices and delicious olive oil with fresh herbs for dipping. We started with the Sonoma Grilled Chicken Flatbread, about $8. Sweet roasted red grapes with melted brie carmelized onions, topped with arugula. The crispy thin crust was the perfect vehicle for all the tasty toppings. Two pieces each, perfect start to our meal. Next we shared the California Cobb Salad, about $17. The apple wood smoked bacon pieces were to die for, smoky goodness. The salad also had the standard components: diced avocado, sliced chicken, diced tomato, chopped egg, Gorgonzola. Served over a bed of shredded head lettuce. The fresh basil makes all the difference. You have to add fresh diced beets, no additional charge! Your choice of herb ranch or bleu cheese dressing. Mushroom Pepperoni Sausage Crispy Thin Crust Pizza, about $17. Siciliano Trio has Pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage, and prosciutto, fresh chiffonade of basil with additional cheese grated on top. Six large slices per pizza and we took three slices home! We will definitely be back. Be sure and sign up beforehand for their CPK Rewards app and get free items for visiting and completing surveys. Win-win for...
