August 7, 2022... 2:00pm: From the moment we arrived it was a disaster... The floors were filthy. and so was the floor under our table, chairs and the bathrooms.
My Young-Adult Children had waited so long ( 21/2 hours ) that they told me to just ignored it We were so hungry but we couldn't even have appetizers because they ran out of everything we wanted: Calamari, Crispy fried cheese and Mac and Cheese. Only brought us one little basket of bread for our party of 7. Then, drinks were brought out... but my Son in law's Coke never arrived, so we had to flag down our waitress... Still waiting for more bread and butter... Bread took an eternity. Waitress no where to be seen. Placed our orders and I requested the Evelyn's choice without the parmesan (I told the waitress I was lactose intolerant) Food finally arrives My Evelyn's choice had cheese on it, my Daughter's Tomato Basil pasta was more like Tomato and extra Garlic, not basil... other Daughter's Pasta the same... so much Garlic, it was so overpowering that it felt like eating Wasabi. Her Pasta was $20 and she paid an extra $6 dollars for chicken. Well she was upset that her plate had only 6 little strips of chicken, which meant she paid a dollar each. My Daughter's in law Chicken sandwich tasted like the chicken was ran under water. And again Son in law's plate didn't arrived so had to flag a Waiter to let him know. Waitress no where to be seen we kept on flaging other waiters. Finally our waitress shows up - (Never asked if we needed refills after all this time) - I showed her the cheese on my plate and she had the nerve to tell me it was an onion skin, I dugged my fork in and mixed my food and showed her that her onion was a couple of Strings of cheese... She took my plate, only to come back 8 minutes later, (with my plate still on her hands) to tell me that my Plate was going to take 25 minutes to cook. I told her to forget it. Basically only 3 people of our party got to eat. Now here's adding insult to injury... When our waitress showed up to give us our bill (which we had gracefully agreed to make it just one bill to save our waitress the trouble of splitting it 4 ways) My daughter noticed that she had the audacity to Charged us a $30 gratuity tip!! We were a party of 7 not 8!! And guess what?? We had to flagged yet again other waiters to confirm and to correct this mistake! Problem was that we were so mad and arguing amongst each other for this shameful act, that We didn't noticed that my nephew had already paid the Bill with his phone! So by the time the male Waiter had come back with the correct bill, it was too late. We all left the Restaurant in a really bad mood.
Because of work and conflicting Schedules we hadn't seen each other in such a long time... awful Service and food quality Ruined what was supposed to be our Really special and anticipated ...
Read moreBeware!! Ok so my husband and I went here last night for our New Years Eve dinner, and we had tickets to go out to a New Years party afterwards! Let me start by saying our waiter was super cool and very friendly! No complaints about service at all! We ordered the Buffalo Bites as an appetizer (thats what is in the picture), I ordered a sandwich with a side ceaser salad and my husband ordered a shrimp and rice plate. Half way thru the appetizer my husband looked at me and said "uhm I don't think we should keep eating these" and I laughed and said "why they are hella bomb" lol he then said he thought they were way too greasy and would upset his stomach. I just thought he was being dramatic lol so I continued to eat another piece until my ceaser salad arrived. We both start eating and again my husband puts his fork down and says "uh nope, that dressing will mess my stomach up, it tastes like sour mayonnaise" and yet again I just thought he was being a diva and kept on munching on my not so great salad lol then our food arrives, we both eat a few bites of "meh" food. Neither was terrible but both were bland and just kinda "meh" and for the price u pay you'd kinda expect it to be more than "meh"... ok so now it's almost 10pm and we're like "well we prob won't be back anytime soon or at the very least we will try a different location next time" it wasn't a terrible experience but nothing worth the $125... we pay and get out to the car, my husband gets about 10 minutes down the road on the way to a NEW YEARS EVE PARTY! And I look over at him and said "uhm babe you gotta take me home" lol he starts laughing and thought I was kidding! BUT I WAS NOT KIDDING!! Once he realized this way a MAYDAY situation he corrected course and had me home in like 15 min... the longest 15 minutes of my life!! Now it's like 10:30 and I proceed to spend the next 75 mins in the bathroom thinking I am about to die! I have never in my life experienced that kind of sudden and extreme sickness. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy lol so needless to say, we missed our party and I was only out of the bathroom long enough to kiss my husband at midnight before I was right back in there for another 30 min round of "is this the end"... Im not sure what made me sick, but I am sure that my husband didn't get sick because he knew something was off lol oh and previously in the day I ate a bagel with cream cheese so I know it wasn't that haha even before I got sick, it was a mediocre meal at best. And for a $100+ meal it should not be mediocre! But getting sick and missing my New Years party just...
Read moreOkay, I live on the other side of the country but was in Calif to share time with family that I hadn't seen in quite some time, some in years. Now, I'm mentioning this because we were seeking a place to enjoy literally everything: fellowship, service, food, overall atmosphere, connections, & for me/most of the others, some really good drinks. Well, honestly, no complaints at all, which resulted in some pretty hefty/well-deserved tips for our waitress, but even more so, the bartender. Unfortunately, I let many days, actually weeks, go by before writing this review; therefore, I do not remember the bartender's name. But, what I can tell you is that he was the primary bartender on Sunday, 27 Aug 2023, during the hours of roughly 4 to 8 p.m. Nonetheless, he made some Pineapple Mezcal Margaritas that none within my group ever had before & they were simply divine!. So very good, I think I lost count after buying roughly 5; no kidding, they were that good that I just wanted more. Anyway, out of my pretty large group, approximately 20+, all the drinkers experienced and thoroughly enjoyed the Pineapple Mezcal Margaritas as well. They were so good that roughly a week later, we had another get-together, and as our primary drink, I did everything I could to try and duplicate those Cheesecake Factory Pineapple Mezcal Margaritas (unfortunately, not as good, but still very tasty). It isn't often that I experience a restaurant with no complaints, especially when you have a large group, but again, we had no complaints at all; everything was excellent, but I would be wrong not to, at least, try to single out and acknowledge our exceptional bartender and the superb Pineapple Mezcal Margaritas that we were fortunate to experience. And yes, since I have been back home, on the opposite side of the country, I'm still trying to duplicate. Yes, we have Cheesecake Factories here as well, and I just hope, seriously, keeping my fingers crossed, that they can make them as good as this Cheesecake Factory. We, my family & I sincerely thank you for a superb/very positive, very memorable...
