My family and I finally got to see and taste what all the excitement was about after a Kings game.
I must admit that what I ordered was extremely boring. It was a couple scoops of vanilla with almonds sprinkled on top. My family members ordered something a lot more extravagant in nature.
Nobody complained about the taste. Everyone was in agreement that it was good but I must admit the service was extremely slow. This is not a knock on the people behind the counter. Although they seemed very slow it’s my belief that if they were trained a little better in more of an assembly line fashion service would have been quicker.
As I watched people enter and people wait for their order I saw people walk out because service was extremely slow. I feel that as big as the place was if service was a bit quicker they could have had people in every room enjoying their desert. The people behind the counter were very nice and served with a smile.
In closing I think the it’s a great idea for a business and as I said my family enjoyed their deserts. I just feel management could definitely help their business out a lot more by streamlining the service to customers.
Also I loved the artwork inside the place. Full disclosure I am biased because of the fact that that I know someone that had direct influence on this business. So my hope is you take my criticism to be totally...

My girlfriend and I wandered into this place before it had its grand opening, and the owner was nice enough to show us around.
It is a cereal bar. As in, there are a variety of house-made dessert cereal bowls of her own creation, complete with unique flavors of homemade oat milk and compote-like fruit spreads. I had a bowl that had this flaky grain mix she made with horchata, little crispy churro bites, banana, and barras de coco cookies. Thing was tasty. My partner got a strawberry shortcake one with strawberry oak milk that I definitely want to try next time. The owner clearly just loves cereal and wants to deliver these finely tuned dishes into the world.
This goes beyond mentioning the store itself. It's a little hole in the wall in old sac that leads down into an expansive underground shop with different themed rooms. The main hall is a bright New Orleans type square while others center around her framed historical Wheaties boxes or painted Froot Loop Falls. The back hall even has a row of TVs and Nintendo Switches that can be set up for big tournaments. There's little spoons with milk and cereal epoxied onto every table too; the whole place is just joyful.
If you like cereal at all, or even if you don't, I cannot recommend visiting...
Read moreI am so happy we were able to make it to this fantastic wonderland of cereals! There were tons of great spots for pictures and alcoves for enjoying our indulgent delights everywhere. We loved getting our sugared cereal fix in such an amazing atmosphere! The bathrooms were especially funny and went along with the theme. The service was fast and they explained everything. I was frankly, overwhelmed when we first went in. But the variety we tried: milkshake, cereal sushi, coffee based cereal indulgence with icecream on top! We even got the mermaid juice that just kept delivering the more we drank! Each layer of cotton candy has a different flavor?! 🤯 As we are just visiting, we will have to go home and feel sorry for ourselves not having such a fun little jewel like Cerealism that we found, nestled in Old Sacramento. Seriously, this is a date night, girls night, kids treat, after church, messy brunch, after sports reward kind of place. Massive kudos for coming up with this idea! We will make sure to tell everyone stopping off in the area that this place is an experience that...
