This is not my first time here, but I can honestly say this will be my last time here. This sent me over the top.
Me and a co-worker put in a pick order for today. We sent in the request at about 11 am, and asked for a 130 pm pick up time. When we received the confirmation email, it had been pushed to 2 pm, which I could have handled, no big deal. So I show up a little early at about 145 just to let them know I arrived and i was told bu the young man with Braces " It will be right out, we are making it now".
So I stood by and watched as 9 ( not an exaggeration) people go their food before I again asked if it would be ready soon. Again I was answered with " It will be right out" and had a window closed in my face. As I stood there by myself, while all the other patrons received their meals and had departed, a gentlemen in a orange shirt came up to the window and said " what orders are you waiting on?" To which I replied with attitude me and my co-workers names, and repeated what the orders were. Keep in mind, I originally placed the order for 130, was told 2 pm, showed up early, and watched others get their food which was ordered after 2 pm, before I was even asked what my name and order and was! I'm heated! Its not over yet , follow along.
I finally receive my food at almost 225 pm, and head back to work. I hand my co-worker her order, and sit down to eat mine. The tacos were all wrong. They look to be THROWN together, and they didn't even add the double meat I asked for. So i thought, maybe it was just my attitude that made the food bad. Nope. I open up the burrito I ordered, and it might as well had been a burned Banana wrapped in foil the way it flopped out and onto my desk. No sort of girth to it, just flat, and when I went to attempted to take a bite, ended up with a mouth full of what I would presume to be their "Soup of the Day". I immediately knew I made a mistake, and chose not to take another bite until I got to the bottom of it, and by bottom of it I mean the burrito to find out what the hell was in this thing. What was suppose to be chicken burrito with extra meat, sour cream and cheese, turned out to be wilted lettuce, tomato, and some kind of melted ball of cheese. I put that thing exactly where it belongs. In the garbage. You have upset my stomach with this disgusting garbage you call food, and have now lost TWO customers, not just one. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way I was treated, and the $23 " Meal" i paid for. I hope they treat the next guy better than they did me, because I wish that type of treatment on any human being. Expect further action...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Chandos, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and excellent service. The restaurant itself has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
I ordered the Carnitas Burrito, and it was absolutely incredible. The carnitas were tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of smokiness and richness. Each bite was packed with savory goodness, and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out — the salsa had a nice kick, the guacamole was creamy, and the rice and beans were perfectly cooked. Wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla, the burrito was not only filling but also incredibly satisfying. It was a perfect balance of flavors and textures that left me craving more.
But the real standout of the meal was the Jamaica drink. This was hands down one of the sweetest, most refreshing drinks I’ve ever had! The hibiscus flavor was vibrant and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. It had a natural, fresh taste that was both tart and sweet without being overpowering. It was the perfect complement to the richness of the carnitas burrito, and I found myself savoring every sip.
Overall, Chandos is a gem. The food was fresh, flavorful, and made with care, and the service was top-notch. The combination of the delicious carnitas burrito and the sweet, refreshing Jamaica drink made for a truly memorable meal. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!...
Read moreI ate Lunch at Chandos tacos today and it was truly a memorable moment. When I arrived at this joint I was stuck in line with all the others patiently waiting to order food. Finally after 15 minutes standing in line I was warmly welcomed by the guy behind the counter. I ordered 4 fish tacos and 4 chicken tacos and chips and salsa. The owners pay attention to every detail and the food I ordered was freshly prepared with the finest ingredients. My food had an awesome aroma of fresh cut cilantro and onions. Savory deliciousness. I love Mexican food. I ordered my food to go, as there no place to sit and eat. The hostess was very attentive and easy to engage with The restaurant setting is airy and surrounded by lots of nothing. ...it was pretty much ghetto. The aroma and smell fresh cooked bbq chicken filled the, air. Overall the food was well prepared and cooked with pride.
