Chang's Chinese — Restaurant in Sacramento

So this place is awesome. I’ve been a loyal customer to this Family for 30 years. Original was down on W El Camino across from Scary Bel Air. Had one in Davis too. But the kids and the grandkids of the Original brothers run this one. Secret Menu item Hunan Beef. So good but is Best in house straight off the fire with plain white rice. My daughter always hogs the General Chicken. My son the Chicken Chow Mein. Pork Chiw Fun too. We switch between HotNSour and Wonton soup. I have a friend from Oregon who swears by their Walnut prawns if he’s within 100 miles. Pot Stickers are the real deal. Ask for the “real” hot mustard if you order...

I had the Kung Pao Delight. WARNING: The menu said it is chicken and beef with the usuals but arrived with shrimp, as well, (which were nice sized and looked good, for shrimp) and I do not eat shell fish, so my friend ate them. And the red peppers, which I normally push to the side, were very finely chopped up into the dish so it was even more spicy then usual. Even with these I enjoyed it and would order it again...but ask for chicken only or, at least, no shrimp.

Worst place I’ve ever gone to in my life. I can’t even describe how disrespectful and horrible these people are. Simply asking for my sweet n sour pork to be placed into a separate container so it doesn’t mix with my rice and noodles and I was turned away for business. I even offered to pay for the container and was still refused. I will never eat at this place and want everyone to know how disrespectful they are to their customers. I’ve never in my 47 years seen a restaurant refuse a customer like this and I can only hope...
