Last week of April 2025, we checked in to a new Aloft hotel in Natomas, Sacramento, California.
Upon arrival, the front desk lady accommodated us on the upper floor. Unfortunately, the bed set up faced towards the window with a freeway view and a constant traffic noise. The air conditioning unit was persistently loud and noisy, making it difficult to sleep. This included the refrigerator, which hummed intrusively throughout the night.
To add to our discomfort, the room's design featured funky furniture that seemed out of place and contributed to a cramped and disjointed atmosphere. Reorganizing the bed away from the freeway and relocating the furniture might have created a more spacious and calming environment.
The bathroom was another issue. The floor was filthy, and the transparent design did nothing to enhance our comfort. The top of the refrigerator in the room was dusty, and the carpet by the bed stained.
Storage options were minimal; there was no closet, only five hangers positioned by the entrance door.
We chose not to have breakfast at the hotel, opting instead to dine elsewhere. Please know that there was no complimentary breakfast in this hotel and no shuttle bus either to Sacramento airport.
In conclusion, our stay at the Aloft hotel in Natomas led us to disappointments. The noisy environment, poor room design, and inadequate amenities overshadowed the few positives of our stay. As a result, we do not intend to return to this hotel and advise prospective guests to consider alternative accommodation...

I asked him for help with setting the safe, 3 days later, I continued to seek help. The phone would not dial out to the reception (I reported this, it still did not function by the time I checked out) . I had to use my phone to dial the front desk for requests. I was told there was no charge for the laundry room -There's a charge. I requested laundry detergent one day, was told it would be taken to my room... 3 hours later I had to call. It was hard to organize my belongings due to no drawers available, the room doors are heavy and slam shut. I was awakened by slamming loud doors when guest were leaving first thing in the morn. Perhaps Aloft is suited for 1 day stays? I must say that's a lot of negative vibes....on a positive note...-One staff member made my stay bearable. Cassidy would take the time to listen and explore avenues to resolve my concerns. She provided plenty of stress relief to a lengthy process which ended with her and a supervisor giving me peace of mind by the day of checking out. I hope my rating...
