I really would like to read this establishment higher however, I cannot. I thought that perhaps this specific store on Del Paso being new would be a little better than the surrounding stores. Each and every time I go into the store I have to ask the employees to change their gloves because they’re touching their faces, touching all the meat, touching the counters, touching their aprons and they get attitudes when you ask them to change their gloves. Today I went into the store and again, I had to ask the employee to change his gloves because his thumb was two fingers deep into somebody else’s pork bowl and I don’t eat meat so of course I don’t want the pork juices intermingling. After he washed his hands and proceeded to change his gloves he turned around to make my food and I noticed he had a bunch of crumbs stuck in his beard! JUST NASTY as all get out!! I proceeded to tell him what I wanted and realize that they were out of the vegetables/peppers. Mind you it’s 3 o’clock in the afternoon. I asked him if they had anymore and he said no we ran out this morning. In my mind I am questioning how on earth they ran out this morning and they barely opened at 11...?!! So I proceed regardless. He made what I wanted.... I asked for guacamole but when I looked into the guacamole there was a bunch of brown stuff so I asked him what it was. He begin squishing it up saying it’s the inside of the avocado where the pit was. So that didn’t bother me and I proceeded to continue with my bowl. When I got home I realized that there was an entire half of an avocado and the stim in my bowl! Unable to smash it, unable to chew it, on able to cut it...., I removed it from the bowl and realize now there was no guacamole. I am not sure who the manager of this establishment is, but they really need to put their employees in check and get with the program. There were several people standing around in the back dancing and talking while they were trying to peel the vegetables to cook and as they’re touching each other and touching their faces there still peeling these vegetables I am not sure who the manager of this establishment is, but they really need to put their employees in check and get with the program. There were several people standing around in the back dancing and talking while they were trying to peel the vegetables to cook and as they’re touching each other and touching their faces they’re still peeling these vegetables. .....I hope they get inspected by surprise! There’s no way that anybody should be charged for what I just paid for. ...
Read moreCame in today for a veggie bowl and a burrito around 8 pm. it was empty and there was no one in line behind me at all, but despite that, the guy with the distinctive mustache and beard who was making my bowl hastily put food into my bowl with extremely small portion sizes that were far less than normal. 1/4 of the bowl was bare (I could see the bottom of the bowl, the height of the food was low as well) meaning that there wasn't enough food put into it. Not only that, the fajita veggies were almost out but he still scooped a small spoonful out and put it in my bowl without asking a worker to refill the fajita veggies.
I've eaten at this chipotle countless times and the other employees have always put an appropriate amount of food (beans, fajita veggies, sour cream, cheese, guac, salsa) except for the guy with the mustache and beard. He might be the manager as I've seen him give orders to other employees before, and this isn't the first time that he's hastily put food into my bowl as if he was on a time-crunch when the store was empty with no one in line behind me; he's done it once before which is why I decided to give feedback. In all honesty, I am not exaggerating because I wouldn't have wasted 20 minutes of my time writing this review if I didn't feel so strongly about it. What's the point in rushing the food at the expense of quality? I should have said something immediately as he put a small amount of black beans into my bowl, but unfortunately I got distracted when he asked what I wanted in the chicken burrito that I had also ordered so I didn't notice how little food he put in my bowl until afterwards.
Also, the cashier told me they didn't have Apple Pay when they did, so I recommend making sure your employees are all up-to-date on that and they forgot to give me the chips I paid for until I asked... however that's an honest mistake and I smiled and wasn't upset by that at all, whereas the guy that made my food should slow down and put a standard amount of ingredients into the bowl as stated by Chipotle guidelines. Honestly, it seemed to me that he was trying to use as little as possible to make the food last until closing time. I might go to the truxel chipotle...
Read moreWalked in at 7:10pm almost 3 hours before closing. But the selection was bare. Was told the fajita mix was unavailable the rest of the night. Then a worker said they could make some and it would take 10 minutes. I said ok no problem. Then another worker walked up and told me fajita mixed was unavailable for the night and they were not making anymore. Also built my burrito and he asked if I could put the meat in a cup and do it myself once I get home. I am not going to put my own meat when that is not what I ordered. On top of it, the amount of meat to other ingredients is getting more scarce. For $10 I expect more meat on my burrito than 1/3 of a cup. This company is a franchise and had no issues struggling during the pandemic. I feel the workers were too lazy to prepare anymore food and there was a line almost out the door and I feel customers probably left frustrated as I did because nothing was available. I was also told there was no more quac and ran out. I asked if the guy could grab some from the other area where they were making food, he said no online orders only as I did for the fajita mix also. Overall, the experience was not a plesant one when this is the only one I stop at on my way home. I don't think I will come back here unless they re-evaluate how they run and operate this business. Also I would not recommend...
