Decided to try raising canes for the first time and bought the Caniac combo changing the fountain drink to a Large lemonade and the coleslaw to another Texas Toast coming out at around $20 after tax. I went on a Thursday night at 9:00P.M and the food quality was alright, the chicken fingers were super hot and crunchy, not dried but not juicy could tell it would be dry as leftovers and had a few bits of chewy cartilage in mine, the toast was soft and toasted, the fries was warm, soggy/stale a bit, but crunchy on the edges, and the lemonade just tasted like a casual lemonade. Overall it is true the chicken is kind of plain and the sauce carries everything.
Chicken Fingers: 4/5 lacks flavor on its own and not super juicy compared to other chicken places, would rather eat Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Jollibee, but not KFC chicken prob.
Toast: 4.5/5 The toast was well toasted, warm and soft on the inside, buttery taste with a savory and sweet more towards the center.
Fries: 3/5 fries was okay but would rather bake my own fries or get fries from another fast food places compared to what I was serve.
Lemonade: 3/5 Just tasted like a lemonade nothing special would rather get flavored lemonade from other fast food or from the mall which is way better than this. Does the compete with In&Out lemonade nor Chick-fil-A.
Sauce: 4/5 The sauce was super good, but it just reminded me of thousand island sauce or In&Out sauce but with more of a vinegary taste to it.
Overall this is something I probably will never crave for or go back for at all compared to other fast-food where I would sometimes crave/want a certain item where as this I could live off never going back or never this would pop up in the back of my mind besides trying the sweet tea because I've heard great things about it and didn't get to try it.

Read moreI passed by this Raising Cane's location with My Father earlier this afternoon, two and a half hours ago. Before going here, My Father and I went to do laundry at Sunshine Laundry in Carmichael. My Father and I went to this Raising Cane's location on Arden Way just off of Business 80, and nearby Arden Fair Mall and Cal Expo, He and I usually go to the Raising Cane's location on Watt Ave. and El Camino Ave. When I walked inside, there was a lot of people. When ordering for lunch, I ordered a Sandwich Combo with crinkle cut fries and a drink, whereas My Father order the Box Combo which was 4 pieces of chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, a coleslaw, and a drink, for the drink, He requested Lemonade with no ice. I used the name "David" for the order. I noticed some differences at this Raising Cane's location on Arden Way near Arden Fair Mall vs the Raising Cane's location on Watt Ave. and El Camino Ave. The one difference I noticed was the restrooms which this location had the number buttons key...
Read moreHad a very disappointing experience at this location due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of a cashier named Lashonda. From the start, she was short with me, beginning the interaction with just, “What’s your name?”
When I tried to make a simple adjustment to my order—removing Cane’s sauce and requesting ketchup instead—she flatly told me it wasn’t possible. When I asked if they even had ketchup, she sarcastically said no, giggled with another cashier, and then admitted they did. After I politely asked for some, she ignored my request and moved on without confirming if my order was correct.
When I got my food, there was no ketchup in the bag. Unfortunately, based on the attitude of the staff, I doubted speaking to anyone else would have helped.
If you value good service and don’t want to leave feeling frustrated, I’d recommend avoiding...
