We went here Saturday, January 4th, 2025

Okay let's start off with the service. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by two employees asking us how many there were in our party. Both of them had big smiles on their faces which was a really nice welcome.

The restaurant itself was not too packed we went around 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday. Context: for Sacramento it was a little bit chilly so I'm guessing that is why the amount of people was a little bit less that night.

The table decided to get a bottle of wine which was really nice. We got a white wine we had not heard of before and thought it would pair well with a different food options we had chosen.

We got a papaya salad, potstickers, lamb curry, Curry puffs, and the Royal pad thai. We shared all these items and this was definitely enough for a group of four people. The main reason for the three star review is in connection to the food. The food visually looked very beautiful. The colors of the different vegetables the colors of this Curry the colors of the topping everything was just really eye-catching.

Now the food was still good the way to describe it was it felt like it was missing a little extra flavor. Like the pad thai had the basic flavors that are at a typical pad type but it felt like they were muted. The lamp Curry was a little bit similar in that regard to because again I could taste the spices but it felt like they were not coming to the surface and really showcasing the char and the lamb. I will say though the table did agree that the lamb was a little overcooked because we had to really use the curry to help with a bit of the dryness. Lastly the bread that accompanied the lamb was a bit too oily for our liking. The potstickers that we started with and the papaya salad again similar really beautiful looking it just felt like the flavors were not fully there.

Overall again good food and if you are an individual that is not really a fan of like really strong flavors or like the presence of heat from spices then this is going to be your jam. For me and our group that enjoys a little bit more of that like the power of flavor in a little bit of heat it was not our jam...

Thai Time in Midtown is a true gem. The food is packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and made with care. One of the biggest highlights for me was the khao soi. It’s incredibly hard to find an authentic version of this dish, and they absolutely nail it. Rich, creamy, savory, with perfectly cooked noodles and a depth of flavor that feels like comfort in a bowl.

What really impressed me is that they offer a no-spice option. That might not seem like a big deal, but it’s actually really rare, especially for a dish like khao soi. I tried both the spicy and non-spicy versions, and both were full of bold, layered flavor. They don’t rely on heat to make it good. The flavor is already there.

Prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality. You get generous portions, fast and friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to come back. It’s one of those places that feels like a local favorite the minute you walk in.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for authentic Thai food that doesn’t compromise on flavor,...

One of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. Service was so friendly and kind and very attentive without being overwhelming. The space is nice and open with a large bar and tons of seating and filled with beautiful plants! But the food. Oh man the food. Every bite was perfect. The wontons were super light but so flavorful. The curry infused french fries were so good and would be the perfect food to pair with some beers while watching sports on one of the TV's there. The se ew and yellow curry were both packed with flavor and my wife said the thai tea tasted the way her mom used to make it. Tamisan (sp?) was the one running around serving and bussing and chatting with all the customers and her friendly smile and positive energy were truly infectious; she even blessed us with some fried ice cream to finish our meal off, which was the perfect treat.

So glad to have a Thai spot like this in my neighborhood and would highly recommend driving to come here to try the food. Worth...
