IHOP — Restaurant in Saginaw Charter Township

This is probably the worst ihop we ever been at we was there twice in the past few weeks or so with our children and are appalled by what we had to go through each time management at this location or whoever the tall guy is with the hair could care less what kind of image this company has a few weeks ago we went into this location on a Saturday maybe Sunday and witnessed the manager cuss and disrespectfully talk to a elderly lady and throw her out over what seemed to us a very minor situation he blew out of proportion which ended in him calling the cops on this poor woman she has every right to be mad and say whatever she needed to say back to him he waa screaming at her so loud everyone dining at that time heard him loud and clear then fast forward to 1-27 the last time we was there according to my recipient we are trying once again this time we hear people screaming call 911 we was scared and had no clue what was happening we soon found out as once again your mananger punches something in the back bc we heard it crash then he appears having a back and forth screaming match with this employee as he makes his way towards the front doors the server which waited on us which was Abby did a better job calming the situation and get the angry employee out the door than the management or anyone else as he is standing up there still cussing saying he was being intimidated by managers and he was going to kill someone's wife meanwhile the manager curses and says f this I am Calling the cops... Everyone else that worked there looked as shocked as us trying to dine in that day maybe I feel sorry for those employees having to work with such a hostile team leader in a obviously hostile environment this place needs a complete overhaul on management and cleanliness maybe if he spent less time escalating situations and running customers off he would realize the inmates run that prison tables always dirty or out of stuff looks like the floors may see a mop once a week ita very ridiculous idk who is over this store on higher up level but maybe you need to rearrange the people who run your store in Saginaw bc as for us if I want ihop id rather drive to Flint don't eat here and i damn sure wouldnt work for someone like that seems like this store just gets worse it was much better some 5 years ago.. I doubt anyone does anything about it though they still going to make money no matter how they look this is mainly to prepare anyone wanting to dine or think about working here. Also we will be calling corporate about this matter as well i don't what really started the situations originally but the way they was handled needs...

I will NEVER go into this restaurant again! I took my family in here for lunch. They were not crowded at all. There were lots of empty tables. There were employees walking back and forth, lots and lots of employees, but no one waited on us. We received no menus, no drinks, no offer of drinks, no placemats, no silverware, NOTHING!!!! So, we continued to sit there and observe. We watched others be ignored as well. We watched as dirty tables went untouched, while busboys and other employees just walked by.

We wondered out loud to each other, what are all these employees doing walking back and forth? They didn't have anything in their hands. No food, no cleaning supplies, no menus. So what were they doing? Laps?

My grandson who is eleven was hungry and getting impatient and frankly, so was I! So HE GOT UP and spoke to someone, asking when we're we going to get served menus and drinks. He was told someone would be over very soon. So we waited some more. But no one ever came.

I finally got angry and told everyone to get up, that we were leaving! When he went to leave we saw that there were actually people seated and waiting in the lobby area to be seated at tables that were empty. What were they having to wait for? I knew I made the right decision to go next door to Dennys!!

This was not the first time this sort of incident had happened to me there at that particular IHOP, but I can assure you it will be the last!

Terrible service. Non caring attitude towards customers. The food is terrible. It will arrive cold. Your order will be innacurate and missing items.

I highly doubt, with attitudes like they have there, if these employees even bother to wash their hands as I've become terribly sick once after eating at this IHOP. I wasn't sure if it was this place or not that caused my stomach issue that day, but since being back there and observing other incidents that indicate neglectful practices, I am not doubting it now.

I give this place a very bad recommendation and a "be very cautious" one as well. You may end up sick after...

Horrible service. Horrible. We waited 20 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant two days ago (April 29, 2023). The floors were all a nasty mess with food all over and sticky. The dining room only had two other families there. It wasn't busy so no need for that horrible mess. The tables were all filthy. Nobody came for a long time to seat the people before us or us. When we were seated we got Bailey G as a waitress and she was truthfully horrible. She is really off in a lala land of all her own. She waited 20 minutes to ask us our order after getting us drinks. She stood in the back and talked with another guy. Nobody was in the dining area lobby barely. When we asked for an item she would say okay, leave, come back 30 minutes later and ask if everything was alright. We would remind her. She would say 'oh yeah' and leave for another 20 or 30 minutes and then return and ask us the same stupid question again 'is everything ok?' after the 3rd attempt we were done. We gave up. The people next to us were playing music and dancing in the aisle. Come on here. We were given a stack of pancakes with no butter for them. Hmmm. No refills offered me at all. When we got up to pay we waited another long time to cash out. We watched her look at us and take her tip from the table and walk away. Then after 5 minutes she came up and cashed us out with her Manager' fella's help who also knew squat about Ihop rewards systems. He snatched my reciept from me after I paid and didn't return it. Why? We weren't rude at ALL. He never gave it back so I could even earn my coin rewards. Done with Ihop Saginaw now. WORST experience for me and my friend (ever.) We left stressed out to the max. Holly hated it too. We lost our rewards...
