Texas Pit BBQ — Restaurant in Saginaw

As a parent of one of the employees (teen under 18) I am very upset about the owner. Restaurant closes at 9:00 pm and all employees have to clean up and leave restaurant organized before they can go home. Tonight, after the restaurant was closed and all employees were about to go home tired after a long busy day an inconsiderate customer walks in, asked for 2 plates to go, the employee apologized and advised the customer that the restaurant was closed and all food has been stored on the fridges. The “entitled inconsiderate man” complains with owner and Leon/Liam (the owner) humiliates all employees that were finishing cleaning making them serve the man the 2 plates he asked for. He commanded all the employees not to leave until he said so and he humiliated the young employee that told the guy that the restaurant was closed and ordered him to pay for the man’s food. My husband and I went through the drive thru. Ordered our food. Young blonde hair girl in the drive thru ran our card and stated it was declined. We called our bank went next door to the atm got cash out with same card and came back to get our food. Same young blonde hair girl answered drive thru window again to help serve us but was no help. Informed her something must be wrong with their machine because we just went next door to get cash and our banker on the phone said nothing was wrong with our card. Her response with an attitude and noise behind it “ha nothing is wrong with our system I just used on someone else’s card” rolled eyes. My husband asked for our cash back and told her we no longer needed the food because of HOW RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL SHE WAS. I called up to the store immediately and from the voice that answered could tell it was her. Asked for the manager and her response was “yup” waited on hold for no one to answer.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER...

The service was great. The people at the food counter were knowledgeable and very helpful in helping us make a selection. The shredded beef sandwich was spicer than I had anticipated. I tried it with mustard, pickles, onions, and BBQ sauce. I enjoyed it. The potato salad tasted like pickles for the first few bites until I got used to it. Once I got used to it. I liked it. The green beans were nicely seasoned and good. The ribs were absolutely delicious. The seasoning was so good, I didn't feel it needed to be dipped in BBQ sauce. The fries were delicious. The first few bites seemed very salty. They were uniquely seasoned and paired nicely with the ribs. The Texas toast was not so good. It seemed like it was coated with and had absorbed some sort of oil that gave it an unpleasant flavor. I would have enjoyed it more with butter rather than oil.
