Good afternoon. As you can see above, the food (coffee) that we ordered was absolutely delicious. I will give them that. The room for the cats very well taken care of and a lot of climbing and toys for the fur babies. That’s where the good experience stops. There were two young ladies that were working. One of the workers was kind, good customer service, but her focus was on supplies. Understandable. The one at the counter to speak to customers as they came in, was atrocious. I’ve worked in customer service for two decades and one thing you don’t do is have a condescending, im too go to speak to people, why do I have to work, oh my god people are here attitude.I came in with my little cousin who had been excited about this place for two weeks. I made a reservation and we happened to get there twenty minutes early. I asked if it’s possible to start early, but understood if not. She didn’t say anything. I looked at her for a response, she smugly said, “no.” Literally nothing else after a minute of sitting on the couch, the other lady came in to say, “you can sign in to get it out of the way” Politely and asked if we wanted any drinks for the wait. We ordered two drinks. When my cousin ordered, she has a softer voice because she’s a kid. Now back to the rude employee, she stops my cousins mid sentence to say, “ughh, I’m going to stop you I literally can’t hear what you’re saying.” I cleared up the ordered bc I could tell she was upset. She treated two other older women the same way. Treating them as if it was an inconvenience for them to ask a question about the waiver. (which mind you I wasn’t asked about, I had to come up later to tell them no waiver was offered.) I spoke to them later about how cute the store was to be polite, she looked at me like I wasn’t allowed to compliment their cafe. It was an uncomfortable experience. Last thing, I asked about was where the sanitizer was for our hands before petting the kitties. The rude worker just looked at the sanitizer. That’s how she “told” me. I’m Happy I donated to a good cause, but I would under no circumstances ever go back nor suggest...
Read moreDaughter deep scratches This has some feeling to it - We were there as a 11 year old birthday surprise for my daughter. We waited 30 minutes and my daughter carefully and quietly picked out 2 kitty pins in the meantime to buy. The 2 girls sat quietly on the couch reading some kitty books while they waited. Within a minute of walking into the kitty area we were told there was an escape artist who seemed a little angry by the door. The flip card description of kitties was in the same area and my daughter picked that up and within seconds was in tears - the cat had jumped up and given her 3 deep scratches and a puncture wound on her legs. I brought her out with tears streaming to the workers and was given a small alcohol square and one small bandaid - the scratches were each over an inch long , deep, bleeding, and the skin around was turning purple and swollen. I had to ask for larger bandages and I got a Kleenex with hand sanitizer to clean them. When I had to ask for another bandage (again) the lady said I see it. I don’t know what else I can do. The cats can scratch from time to time. There was a lack of empathy that surprised me.
I’ve had cats my whole life. Most were strays. I get it. I didn’t understand the lack of empathy towards a surprised, scared and sweet child. We literally had just walked in the kitty area and it happened. Understandably the 2 girls did not want to go back in. There there was no offer to refund. I can’t recall an apology. The woman stayed behind the counter handing the bandages only as I asked for them. We had just been to the cat cafe a few weeks earlier and it was calm, relaxing and fun. Today was different - there was a young boy in the group before us chasing after a cat and I didn’t see anyone from the cafe intervene. Unsure if this was the cat that was being chased, but the rules are to sit and let them come to you. Very disappointed. We appreciate the work to help get strays their forever homes but feel a little more control and customer service would be helpful here at this business. Unfortunately we won’t...
Read moreDisappointed with this place. My children and I are from out of town. We stopped by here before heading home because my daughter has never been to a cat cafe. We ordered food and ate before interacting with the cats. The food was so basic and small. My children each had an egg and bacon biscuit and I had a bagel with cream cheese. Apple juice, OJ and coffee. The food looked and tasted like packaged food. Also, to interact with the cats it is $12 per person must be 12 years + and they make you sign a waiver. After interacting with the cats I definitely understand why they make you sign a waiver because they had a short-tempered cat that they don't even warn you about before going in, my daughter and I were both present when my son gently put his hand out to approach a beautiful multi color cat without a warning the cat scratched my son's hand! After my son was grazed I attempted to gently approach the same cat to see if something was probably off and she scratched me as well. Two other girls that were in the room also told us that that cat wasn't kind. With that being said another group came shortly after us we told them the same that that cat wasn't kind and just like I said the cat was on guard for whoever tried to get close to it. That cat shouldn't be in there. The total for the food and interaction came out to $67 for three people. I love the idea and the fact they try to help these cats but I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for...
