Firstly, the coffee here is always fantastic hot or cold. It is a must stop in St.Charles!
Next, the food is pretty good I think it could be better and is a little pricey, but still good. The side of fruit is a nice touch. I will say, in a previous visit I was pretty upset that the Lox bagel I had ordered came out disassembled. I paid 9 bucks for it, and when I go out for food I expect it to be ready to eat. I did not expect to have to spread the cream cheese and put it together myself. Today when I went in, I felt a little needy when I asked if they could put it together for me. But in reality, I am paying money for food made by someone else. Not just for the ingredients. I feel like it's weird that it normally comes disassembled. I think they should definitely change that, so I don't have to ask.
Love the employees, the atmosphere, the coffee! It is a wonderful place to stop in at. š„¹ I just wish...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe espresso is great and thatās what keeps me coming back, but I get frustrated by a few things. It seems like they are often short staffed because there will be one person working a line of like 20 people. The line itself kinda ruins the vibe because you have a large mass of people constantly standing in the middle of the place, not to mention itās a solid 10 minute wait just to order. The people making the espresso are great, but again short-staffed, because sometimes the wait seems a bit too long. And this is maybe a niche thing but Iāve had an issue where when I order food, they use a pastry tissue after putting it full down on the counter in front of the cash register and just leaving it there⦠then using it to grab my food. Often thereās not really a good place to sit because people will take a table and just sit there for ages. Again the coffee is good but the combination of elements often...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I decided to start a journey to find the best coffee around. There are few that I consider my favorite coffees around but when it comes to coffee, itās said āthe more the merrierā Today I chose Picassoās. I walked in where itās a kind staff. And I liked the decorations. So the first thing I said when I was asked how I can be helped, coffee. He replied either the house blend or Bourbon Pecan. The latter sounded interesting and that was what I got. I wouldnāt say it is the best coffee Iāve had, but it easily beat most of the over rated franchise coffee around us. I wouldnāt get out of my way to grab a coffee from them but if I was around I felt like coffee, o would get one and maybe next time try some of their pastries or the...
