Stepping into a Chick-fil-A is like entering a parallel universe where politeness is a competitive sport. Employees don't just serve you; they practically offer to adopt your children and water your plants while you're on vacation. "My pleasure!" they chirp, with a sincerity that makes you wonder if they're actual angels or highly sophisticated animatronics programmed with excessive courtesy. You could probably confess your deepest, darkest secrets at the counter, and they'd just smile and ask if you want Polynesian sauce with that existential dread. The food, ah, the food. That deceptively simple chicken sandwich. It's the siren song of the fast-food world, luring you in with its perfectly breaded, pickle-adorned glory. Is it gourmet? No. Is it somehow infused with a secret ingredient that makes you crave it at 2 AM on a Tuesday? Absolutely. And the waffle fries? They're not just fries; they're tiny, edible, potato-based latticeworks of pure joy. You will order a large. You will say it's to share. You will be lying. Then there's the sauce situation. It's a veritable rainbow of creamy, tangy, smoky options. Choosing a sauce at Chick-fil-A is a more stressful commitment than picking a college major. And heaven forbid they forget your beloved Chick-fil-A sauce – it's grounds for a minor emotional breakdown, right there in the drive-thru. Of course, no Chick-fil-A review is complete without mentioning the Great Unspoken Truth: it's closed on Sundays. This is a weekly tragedy for the devoted. You'll see them, listless and forlorn, driving past the darkened restaurant, a single tear rolling down their cheek as they clutch a Chick-n-Mini from the day before. It's a cruel, cruel world that denies a person their fried chicken on the Lord's day, a fact that has surely tested the faith of many. The lines, oh, the lines. They can be longer than a CVS receipt, snaking around the building, a testament to humanity's unwavering commitment to delicious chicken. Yet, somehow, these lines move with an efficiency that would make a German engineer weep with pride. It's a finely tuned ballet of cars and "my pleasures." So, is Chick-fil-A perfect? Well, if you're a cow, probably. For the rest of us, it's a beacon of hope in a world of lukewarm burgers and surly service. It’s a place where the chicken is always crispy, the lemonade is always freshly squeezed (or so they tell us, and who are we to argue with such polite people?), and you're guaranteed to leave feeling just a little bit better about humanity, albeit with a desperate need for a nap. Final verdict: Go. Just not on a Sunday. Unless you enjoy a good cry. And maybe bring a thesaurus to come up with new ways to say "thank you," because "my pleasure" is their turf, and they will win. Chick-fil-A: My Pleasure, Your Guilty Pleasure (Especially on a Sunday) Ah, Chick-fil-A. The land of suspiciously polite employees, chicken sandwiches that whisper sweet nothings to your soul, and the only place that can inspire a city-wide panic simply by being… closed. If you haven't experienced the unique gravitational pull of those red and white logos, then bless your heart, you're missing out on a cultural phenomenon that's part fast food, part weekly craving, and part benevolent overlord of your lunch break. Let's start with the staff. Entering a Chick-fil-A is like stepping into an alternate dimension where everyone is having the best day of their life, and their sole mission is to ensure you do too. Ask for seven packets of Chick-fil-A sauce (the nectar of the gods, obviously), and they'll hand them over with a smile and a "My pleasure!" that sounds so genuine you'll wonder if you're the one who should be thanking them for the privilege of their service. It's unnervingly wonderful. You half...
Read moreI have been to so many CFAs across central Florida bc I have lived or worked From Polk county to Volusia county. This one in Lake Nona has never noticed disappointed. I don't know what it is about this location but they have always always always messed up my order. When they first opened I chucked up to bc they're new. Its new franchise location mistakes but NO. I rarely come to this one and it's the closest to my residence but today is this first time this yr 2025 I say you know I will give them a try. There wasn't be much traffic at this time of day. It wasnt. I ordered on mobile. No problem. Pleasant and expected welcome by order taker in drive thru. They had a little issue finding my order but that was mistake I placed carryout instead of drive thru option. That's on me. I get get inline. Get my food. Eat some fries on way back home. I am missing stuff. The missing items or added ice to drink when I requested no ice it is trivial but in the past I've gotten home missed a sandwich. Got a regular sandwich when I asked for grilled. I've been given the wrong salad before. They forgot on multiple occasions incl this time my Polynesian sauce--- now that is serious!
I don't think I have reviewed ya beforeif I have it was yrs ago but I am upset as I am craving my sauce. It's a lot bc this location is close but to get in car go the few lights and pull into your location and not get what I asked and expected its upsetting. If you mess up on the little items what will have happen if it's a huge mistake like a catering order.
I request that leadership at this location do a tighter...
Read moreOrlando, FL. Excellent customer care, it’s another great Chick-fil-A. The dining area is larger and nicer than at other locations, with a mix of modern touches like pendant lighting and a glass chandelier, with wood and modern stone accents as part of the architecture. Love that Chick-fil-A still puts fresh flowers on the table. Guests today included quite a few business people meeting over lunch, a couple in gym clothes, a family with small children, etc. Because there isn’t a play room here the atmosphere is more sophisticated.
I worked at a Chick-fil-A (when they hired my daughter they wanted to hire me too so for fun I agreed) and this location is doing great: great food, tables were clean (saw the person wiping a table with sanitizing wipes); the trash cans are motion sensor-activated; the young person at the register smiled, made eye contact, answered my questions and when i thanked them they said, “My pleasure,” and looked sincere.
Because of its location on busy Narcoossee Rd and its smaller parking lot I thought it would be crazy inside but was pleasantly surprised to find how beautiful and relaxed the restaurant was. Also we easily found a parking spot so maybe most people are doing drive through here.
Drive through goes quickly and efficiently. The couple times I’ve come through the drive through the staff has been efficient and genuinely smiled. Chick-fil-A looks to hire honor students and those who’ve done volunteer work in the community and this shows in the caliber of customer service and attentiveness shown by the team.
Highly...
