This restaurant gave me a weird atmosphere. They have a QR code menu and order system, yet the order system is incomplete. You still need to wait for the waiter to walk by to place your order. There is a self-service bar for sauce, but the counter has a glass cover, making you reach your hand really far and have your face above the glass to reach the sauce. đ„Ž
We ordered the BBQ+Shabu Shabu combo, but they never gave us BBQ sauce or salt until our third round of orders (we asked for it at the beginning). The waiting time between each order is long, with only two people working on the orders, making it take forever to get our food. (Itâs so weird they have a self-service bar, but customers cannot walk nearby. You need to order at your table, and theyâll bring it to you.) The amount of food is inconsistent as well. One order of lettuce had four pieces, but ten orders of lettuce had only eight pieces. So confusing. đ„
The plates for BBQ and Shabu Shabu are the same, so if you have both at the same time, you canât tell which is BBQ meat and which is Shabu Shabu meat. đČđ„©
They donât have a range hood around the grill, so we smelled really bad when we walked out of the restaurant. Even three days later, my jacket still has the BBQ smell. đ·đ
Their Shabu Shabu base is pretty nice. I loved their tonkotsu and Tom Yam, yet if you ask to add soup, theyâll add chicken stock to your pot. By the end of your meal, you wonât be able to taste the tonkotsu or Tom Yam. đ
The main reason Iâm giving 2 stars is because of a waitressâs attitude. We had a Thai tea that was really, really sweet (none of us could drink it). We told the waiter it was too sweet, and she responded with a bad attitude, saying, âThis is American flavor. If you canât drink sweet things, then just donât order it.â Plus, the boba inside was not chewy. However, the male waiter was really nice to us. đ
About 50 dollars per person is not cheap, definitely cannot compare the quality with Las Vegas or LA. Overall, I wonât be back because of the waitressâs attitude. And Iâll remember not to order Thai tea again because she told me I cannot accept...
Read moreIf youâre looking for the ultimate Korean BBQ experience, let me save you some time: go wherever Kiki is working. Iâm not exaggerating when I say she makes the entire dining experience. The food is obviously incredible â top-quality Wagyu beef that practically melts in your mouth â but Kiki takes it to another level.
From the second you walk in, she greets you with this radiant smile that immediately makes you feel like family. Sheâs not just friendly â sheâs genuinely warm, the kind of person who remembers you even if youâve only been once before. The way she handles every table, the way she checks in at just the right times, and how she somehow manages to be calm, funny, and on top of everything all at once â itâs next-level.
And when it comes to the BBQ itself? Kiki knows her stuff. She can tell you exactly which cuts to start with, how to grill each one for the perfect flavor, and how to pair the sauces and sides for that ideal bite. Watching her handle the grill or even explain the marbling on a cut of Wagyu makes you realize youâre in the hands of someone who cares â not just about the food, but about giving you an unforgettable meal.
She moves with this easy confidence and genuine joy that just spreads to everyone around her. Even when the place is packed, she somehow makes time to laugh, to chat, and to make sure every single table feels special. Itâs that rare mix of skill and heart that you just donât see often in the restaurant world anymore.
Honestly, Kiki doesnât just serve Wagyu â she elevates it. Every bite tastes better when sheâs the one guiding the experience. If there were a âface of hospitalityâ award, it should go straight to her.
So yes, the foodâs amazing â buttery, flavorful, perfection on the grill â but the reason I keep coming back is Kiki. Sheâs the reason this place shines.
If youâre lucky enough to have her take care of your table, youâll understand exactly what I mean. Five stars...
Read moreLets start with the positive - the staff is wonderful - our server was Ray, and he is the main reason for it not being a 1 star review. Now on to the food - and the reason we will not be going back. There were 4 of us. The cooking area is a small round "grill" sadly only very middle was kind of hot enough to cook anything. It was so frustrating and took what felt like forever to be able to eat. We even cut everything up pretty small and it still took quite some time to cook - in the end we decided the vegies were our favorite because they were the fastest to cook and helped tide us over while we waited for the meats. We had hoped the spring rolls, potstickers and rice would have helped but nope, the rolls and potstickers did not taste good at all and were like eating a tough rubber tire, the white rice was cold and under cooked and the fried rice, i just have no words for it :( though my husband's comment might have been the most on point for it "the rice at Panda Express tastes better" sad but true. Once the meat was cooked we talked and did like the meal as it was cooked the way we liked it, but we did the cooking and it took for ever. I love Korean BBQ I have been to quite a few over the years in many places. Not one time has it ever taken so long or had such a small "grill" for 4 people. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement then add in the price. This place is not worth your time or money, which is so heartbreaking to say. Our area needs more restaurants and a larger diversity of foods but after being open as long as it has i do not have much hope it will get any better or ever be worth...
