I have been so excited to check out this thrift/reseller store. Today I finally got the chance. There was a sign out front showing all the sales for the shopping center and said that Indie Clover was having sales at individual booths, and they were marked. Before I even saw the sale sign, I spotted a booth that looked like stuff I would love to wear. I went over and and saw that it was all 50% off!! There were so many cute things in this booth and I grabbed about half of them. When I went to check out, the lady was ringing them up and they were not showing the sale price. So I told her, those are 50% off. She snapped back "no they're not". I said, yes, you have a sale sign out front and the sign is right there on the booth, showing 50% off. She walked over and looked and said "That's not supposed to be there, its not on sale anymore." I'm not one of those people that demands that I get what the sign shows because it's "false advertising" if they don't give it to me. So I just walked out. Whoever was renting booth #53 this weekend, I'm so sorry for the loss of a huge sale you would have had. I truly hope that someone else won't mind paying the full prices for those items and that you make even more than you would have from me. But, I will never go back to Indie Clover. My first experience was so distasteful that I will not return. I wanted to rent a booth there too, but their prices are really high. This is only my experience, and I hope no others have to deal with this. Hopefully it was just the sales associate working today at 4pm. She had dark hair, but that's...
Read moreEverything about their process was seamless. I showed up an hour late to set up my booth after being stuck in traffic coming from Sand Hollow on a Saturday morning — so I was stressed that I wouldn’t be able to get it done in time and sure enough with the help of their incredible staff it was no problem at all. they kindly let me finish set - up probably about 15 minutes past 10AM, but without their urgency and thoroughness to help everyone I wouldn’t have ever been done that quick! (even better to note; I overheard that they’re understaffed right now, but you would have never been able to tell with how fast they were there to assist anyone selling.) I did read a review about pant/skirt hanger suggestion - which could help those items promote better, but other than that I still found it a cute and tidy aesthetic to put excess items in bins. Overall a 10/10 experience and so fun to see how much of the community shows up every Saturday to sell their stuff! There’s endless shopping to be done everyday at Indy Clover! I can’t wait to find out how my sales do. I will definitely be a consistent seller...
Read moreSold my items twice here. Once in the summer and once in the winter. I think my summer sales did better then my winter sales. Most of my stuff is free people, anthro, madewell, etc. one thing I have learned is that people walk into this store wanting a bargain. I think an item priced at 20.00 or 30.00 is even still too high for some people even through my items are high quality gently worn or brand new items. When I mark things down to 50% off, that is when my stuff starts selling. Remember that clothes and purses are not an investment unless they are rare items from the 1950s. I try not to get my hopes up too much when what seems likes a deal to me is not a deal to someone else. My advice is price an item higher if you know you are going to discount it on Thurs and Friday. Overall, very nice owners and staff who I personally know and very nice store atmosphere that has a great concept to slow down fast fashion and child workers in China and buy pre loved items instead. Thank you...
