Geneo's Pizza and Pub — Restaurant in Saint Joseph

I don't understand the popularity of this restaurant. The food is not very good at all. The pizza dough is basically cheap white bread and they are very stingy on the ingredients. I ordered a calzone and it had hardly anything in it. Very little cheese sprinkled in with some onions and tomatoes. There was no ricotta cheese which is what is supposed to be in a calzone. $11.99 for bread. Others in my party had pizza, I don't get it, not good. And I noticed on my bill a 3.5% service charge and then an addition credit card fee. ??? What the heck? With prices these days, it is alright if you feel you got a good meal for your money, this place did not give me that feeling, I felt I overpaid for very substandard food. I am having trouble attaching a photo of my receipt but to the owner, go to Check #71 on 8/19/25 at 6:10PM and tell me why there is a 3.5% service fee and then a 3.0%...

My husband and I were in town visiting family, and staying at a B&B nearby. We were looking for tasty food we could bring back to our room that was close by - and this place was perfect! My husband parked in the lot across the street and I ran in to pick up our online order. Pickup was suppose to be from 8:05 PM - 8:10 PM but I didn’t end up getting it until about 8:25 so don’t rush in to pickup. Food was pretty good - I wish the cinnamon pizza came with a side of icing - but otherwise amazing and filling! Pictured is what was left after we ate (we ordered a cheese pizza bread, cinnamon pizza, and a personal cheeseburger pizza). Service was really good, just wish pickup was a little closer to the expected time. To-go drink selection could have been a little more impressive. Would definalty eat here again next time we are in...

Crust wasn't as crisp as it has been in the past. It's been a few months since we've been there, and the last time we had pastas

It's been at least a year since we've had pizza from there, but they've always been known for the cracker like finish on their crust. Our crust tonight was crisp at the edge but was soft towards the middle. Sauce is still spot on, and the toppings are perfectly covering the crust. They use high-quality cheese, and the flavors were still very good. Just need to maybe bake a little more.

Beers were very reasonably priced, and they had our favorite local brewery. The bartender was very friendly and kept up with the orders coming through, which were fast and many. The beer was icy cold.
