I never leave reviews but thought this one was absolutely necessary. We ordered two You Pick Twos at 6pm. It took 45 minutes for us to get our food. Then it wasn’t even correct! Our buzzer rang so I went to pick up the food. The only food on the counter was a To-Go order. No tag and no one knew who it was for so they had to unpack the bag to find out it was the gentleman’s next to me. I was then told by an employee (the one to check orders as they come out) that mine is coming up next. A few minutes later, my food did come out but one you pick two was missing the soup. So I stood there waiting while the employee threw the receipt away and didn’t mention anything about the missing soup. Then everyone behind the counter left. Still no soup so I’m still waiting. The employees were then confused why the food was still there. The employee checking orders said nothing so I had to speak up saying it’s missing soup. They sloppily put soup in the bowl- soup was dripping down the outside of the bowl on all sides. They sat it NEXT to my plate, then threw a spoon at me. So I had to put the soup on my plate. The other you pick two we had ordered, had the incorrect bread for the sandwich and we were not notified of this. Then while we were eating (around 6:45), the manager went and LOCKED the front doors. The sign posted on the front door stated that they don’t close until 8 pm. Those customers who ordered online were confused and had to WAIT for someone to come out to be let in to get their food. I understand they are short staffed but there were several employees walking around and not doing anything. We were told they couldn’t help because they didn’t know what to do. My husband worked there 10 years ago and said there’s recipes. So you should be able to hop in and follow along. Anyway, VERY...
Read moreI will no longer be patronizing this particular Panera. I order lunch and sometimes dinner from here regularly, but my most recent experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered a chicken Ceasar salad with extra dressing. As you can see in the pictures below, the containers of dressing aren't even close to being half full. I have complained about orders previously and was just fed up with the mistakes. In this case, though, I thought the manager needed to see this, so I drove to the store after having this delivered to my job nearby. I politely asked for a manager and when she arrived, she asked me what the problem was. I pulled out the dressing and said, "What is this?"She took this literally and said Ceasar, I said that, "I know it is Ceasar dressing, but there is barely anything in the containers. " she said that there is "one scoop. " She then offered me additional dressing, which i accepted, but when she came back, she literally didn't even look at me and just placed the additional 4 containers on the counter and walked away. These additional containers had the same amounts as the previous containers. I asked another employee who walked by to grab the person I just spoke with. She came back and asked if there was anything else I needed (not sure exactly what she said) I told her, "a sorry would have been nice", she then said that she had "20 orders on the screen" (which i understood as this was the lunch rush in a very busy area) I let her know that an apology takes a half a second. She apologized, and that was that. I left and went back to work and did enjoy my salad, but I shouldn't have had to use all 8 containers of dressing just for my salad to be...
Read moreThe location is great both for the people who live, shop, and work in the area. My biggest frustration has been a lack of communication about the hours of this location. I am not referring to changes that came about during the lockdown.
Simply - it seems like they have been changing their hours of operation either to adjust for business or to handle staffing concerns. This is understandable, but it's never communicated other than a black and white laser jet printed sign that's taped to the door. On two or three different occasions I've gotten to the restaurant only to find out it isn't open even though it said it was open online. Highly frustrating and we wound up going to Caribou instead.
In terms of when they are open, the staff is very competent and the food is consistent with every other Panera location I've been to. They did a remodel last year and the store looks refreshed. They've been introducing some new menu items too system wide and the store has been where I've tried out most of those.
I've had some issues with consistency of quality with their iced coffee. I had the Panera Plus program with a free daily coffee for a while. Particularly after the lunch rush, the quality just wasn't the same and obviously that could be because they're not replacing it as often. Either way, that was frustrating is I would often pick up my coffee in the afternoon for...
