Great deals on items. Parking lot is treacherous to manage due to its size and sheer volume of vehicles. Several drivers in lot can become aggressive. Not a great place for the children or elderly and would recommend direct drop off for those individuals requiring more time and assistance. The parking lot at Home Depot is usually not as busy. The average shoppers are not very friendly. Don't expect even a head nod. The overall vibe is really self focused on obtaining needed items in the fastest way possible. For example, I recently shopped at this location and was wearing a full winter outfit including boots since I had walked my dog earlier in the day when it was sleeting. Granted, I probably did look ridiculous since by the time I was shopping it was near 47 degrees. However, I was unfortunately made fun of by 10 or so shoppers including families. I chose not to respond to my fashion criticism as I was still cold, LOL. I guess my point is that it is not a great neighborhood hangout spot. Be careful with your cart as they are large and can become difficult to manage when full. Shoppers tend to relax somewhat after they have purchased items and are enjoying a snack or meal in cafeteria area. Staff are friendly and helpful if you can find them outside of the check out lanes. The business is non-union. Gasoline is available for purchase at a detached gasoline multi-pump area closer to Office Max. Entry to the gasoline station is tricky and you can easily miss the entrance due to poor signage and awkward layout of parking lot. Overall, I am happy as a customer and have the highest membership level due to the cash back program. When you think of it, it seems weird that people would be willing to pay for the right to shop in a warehouse. However, there are a lot of quality products at low prices for sure. Just keep an eye on the unit price because sometimes it is not as low as you would expect. Good selection of meat products, but I didn't notice many grass-fed and grass finished options. Used to shop there more, but since I am trying to eat more Organic foods, I find their offerings somewhat limited. It does seem that there are more Organic food products being released and stocked which is nice. There is a Pharmacy in the store and it appears to be quiet popular with shoppers. It seems that there are less samples being offered which is unfortunately because I really enjoy tasting foods and beverages as well as trying out products with a salesperson present. There is an attached Liquor store to the right of the main entrance which has a fairly good selection of wines and other alcoholic beverages. Costco has some great deals on 4K televisions for sure. Happy with the products and prices, but could live without the shopping experience. You can use Instacart to have your Costco items directly delivered which is very nice. Just know that Instacart charges a higher price per item than what is available in store in addition to...
Read moreCostco is great. We know this. Costco shoppers? We're the worst. It starts in the parkinglot, (Look. The way I see it is like this: if there is a car occupying a parking space, and that car is not actively vacating the space, that's not your parking space. Keep driving. If someone had just arrived at their vehicle with a cart full of grocery items, it isn't reasonable to park in the middle of the driving lane waiting for them. That's not your space. Keep 'er movin'. ) where we drive around looking for a space, behaving like entitled children, cursing every slow walkling pedestrian occupying 75% of the driving lane with their giant cart and 2.5 children. Once we do find a space to park, we immediately morph from entitled driver to entitled pedestrian, clutching onto our claim of right-of-way, practically daring a cellphone distracted soccer mom to plow us over (free Costco for life, if we survive). Once a space is secured, and we get inside, that's where the fun really starts. Grab that Costco SUV of shopping carts, flash your id card, and get in lock step behind all the other parkinglot survivors and start buying in bulk! TVs, diamond rings, clothes hangers, kiwi fruit, bagels, (they come as a two pack, and, no. You can't "just buy one" you need to go all the way back to the bakery and grab another pack. Yes, we'll all wait for you. At least you'll get your steps in.) Meat, Toilet paper, coffee, Biscoff cookies (is this where Delta shops, too? I thought I saw someone trying to park a Boeing 747 out there!), Ramen, gum, bread, protein powder, prescription drugs, q-tips, adult diapers and a maple tree... you want it, they've got it at Costco, as long as you want at least 263% more of a thing than you would think was reasonable. Once we secure our items in the surprisingly efficient checkout process. Hold on to that receipt! It's your ticket out of here! Back to the parkinglot to reverse the parking process and home again! (I hope you bought a shed at Costco. You're gonna need it to store all that toilet paper and frozen pizza). Note: if you can go at 1:45 PM on a Tuesday, you'll have a...
Read moreThe parking is always crowded at this location, but it's worth it! We schedule our trips usually 30 minutes before close to avoid traffic, and never have a problem getting in and getting everything we need (and more) in that time. Even though it's just 2 of us, the prices are incredible, and the quality/freshness of food and produce is unbeatable. We bought white peaches and they lasted for a month-- and were just as juicy and refreshing as the first day we bought them. And have you ever had an entire BOX of grapes that lasted for weeks without a single mushy or sour one? I never thought I liked grapes until I had them at Costco! You might think you're getting a better deal at Aldi--which it may be a little cheaper--but you're getting better QUALITY and QUANTITY at an extremely competitive price. SO WORTH IT! My husband loves the high-quality of the meat and the large selection. The bakery makes the most delicious and wholesome products, too. We're always trying something new! The biggest money and time saver for us, however, is all the bathroom stuff--toothbrushes, floss, deodorant, shampoo, feminine hygiene, etc. Instead of hitting up Target once a month we're able to buy once or perhaps twice a year at Costco. And instead of buying groceries every week, we're down to once a month. Yes, even milk expiration dates are typically 3-4 weeks out at Costco. You may have to put up some money up front, but SO WORTH IT by the year's end. We keep our 2 bedroom household stocked FULL at $200 bucks a month--and this is ALL groceries, ALL bathroom, ALL office/storage, and even some fun things every once in a while. The TIME we're saving is so helpful too. Honestly, I can't imagine going back to how things used to be. I imagine the benefits only grow with a larger family...
