Starbucks — Restaurant in Saint Paul

I hardly ever go to Starbucks. I had a busy morning and didn't have time to do breakfast at home.

I asked for "a french vanilla with caramel macchiato drink of either frappuccino or latte, I'm not picky on which one."

Immediately the manager knew exactly what to do.

The girl ringing up my order was a little confused which I understood. How often do they really get an order line that you know?

So it was really cool the manager knew what to do and was able to help her ring it up.

I also ordered a ham and swiss baguette. I have always eaten them as is and had never thought about toasting them before.

So I was a little caught off guard when she asked if I wanted it toasted but I declined politely.

Thinking about it later on I decided next time I have one I have to have it toasted. I am genuinely curious what it would taste like.

The atmosphere, though busy, was awesome.

The only complaint that I have is that it was not an easy location to find but now that I have been there it will be a lot easier to find now.

For those who are having a hard time finding it as well.

It is directly next door to Chipotle. It looks like it is still Chipotle and that was why I kept walking past it while trying to find it.

I have tried the Starbucks inside Target on Suburban Avenue off of White Bear Avenue.

When it comes to service, atmosphere, friendliness and the whole works.

Target Starbucks falls extremely short in comparison to this location.

I actually want to go back to this location.

Good thing I have physical therapy downtown...

I came in today while doing some studying, the barista that rang me up was very nice and attentive to my order I paid with cash and given the proper amount of money Back I got what I usually get a vanilla sweet cream cold brew and some egg bites. My order was called and I was given my drink. The color of my drink was darker than expected now I’m a barista myself so I know what my drink should look like. Usually I’m not that picky with coffee so i shrugged it off and tasted it. There was no vanilla... I waited for the barista at the bar to finish the drink she was making to ask if she could just put some vanilla into the cold brew. I apologized for the nuisance but I was only faced with irritation and a poor attitude. She inched away from the handout station informing the other barista I wanted “more vanilla” when there clearly wasn’t any in the cold brew. the other girl just poured more sweet cream into the cold brew when I just wanted vanilla syrup... I’m giving them a 3 star because of the poor attitude and irritation. Treat someone how you want...

Ordered a cold drink. Requested less ice. Given double the regular amount of ice (even over the level lines for extra ice) so my boyfriend requested extra coffee for me. There were five people working. No line. Two people were sitting on their phones. One person was cleaning. The Asian barista girl (don't know name cuz didn't go in with him) who he requested extra coffee from rolled her eyes at him, and passive aggressively exclaimed "Gotta get that LIGHT ICE" when remaking my order. I've seen a lot of reviews regarding the attitude of the employees at this location, and while I'm aware just how stressful a food service job is, a simple apology for messing up a simple order in an over staffed location that wasn't even busy would've been fine.
