Giuseppe's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Saint Pete Beach

Pizza tasted OK, nothing spectacular, but worst customer service ever. I ordered 6 pizzas and they only delivered 5. I paid and tipped 20% and the delivery guy said he was sorry and would run back to the store and bring the 6th back quickly. A half hour passed and I hadn’t heard from him yet so I called them. I was told they are really busy and put on hold for 5 min. When they didn’t pick up again I hung up and called back. I was immediately put back on hold and again no one picked up so I had to hang up again and call back. This time they answered and I told them I wanted to check on my order because I only got 5 pizzas when I paid for 6. I explained that the driver said he would be back over a half hour ago and he hadn’t shown up yet (they are less then 1/2 mile from me so 1/2 hour is way to long) The woman told me “I don’t know what to tell you, he’ll get there when he gets there” and hangs up. I called back 5 more times and they kept hanging up on me (they have caller ID because they knew my number the first time I called so this was obviously intentional) on the 6 time they finally answered and told me that there was nothing they could do, they were very busy and again hung up.

This place is horrible. The pizza was OK, nothing special, but the way the treat their customers makes them the worst pizza place I have ever dealt with.

I will never order...

Avoid at all costs!!! We called to place an order and were told 1.5 hours to wait for delivery so we opted to pickup instead which was supposed to be a 30 minute wait. We show up and the host did not greet or attempt to find out why we were there. After waiting to speak with her, she started spilling the restaurants business saying that 2 drivers called in, there was a grease fire, and the owners are about to kill each other. After over 30 minutes of waiting, a lady from the back comes out, clearly drunk. I’m assuming she must have been one of the owners but she acted like she had no idea what was going on. She was throwing papers everywhere and kept telling people over the phone that she was closed. When she started talking to the customers in line, she was only interested in two younger men waiting. She told one “you’re exceptionally handsome” while licking her lips and winked at another one and almost fell over. She kept telling everyone “5 more minutes” yet the restaurant didn’t even smell like food. I doubt they were even making anyone’s food. Everyone ended up walking out with no pizza in hand. I am not the type of person that leaves negative reviews online but in this instance this is the only way for me to be heard. I was visiting St Petersburg and staying .3 miles from Giuseppe's Pizzeria. After a long day of travel I decided to order out for a quick bite. I ordered a small cheese pizza, Caesar salad and the meatball & ricotta app. I placed the order at 8:24 pm and was quoted 35 minutes. When it had not arrived at 9:15 I called to check on things, they apologized and said they would be here in 15 minutes. At 9:54pm I had had enough and called to speak with the manager, Andrea. I was informed she was the one delivering my food and she would be here soon. They finally arrived after 10:10 pm, the pizza was cool, the croutons in the salad were soggy with browning lettuce and the meatball app was cold. The taste was as good as the service was. For my inconvenience they offered 10% off my next order and I informed them I would never spend my money with them again. The managers reaction to me informing here I would not be tipping for the service I received was humorous at best. I found them rude...
