It is a great beach if you are looking for convenience. The beach is literally right off the walkway so you don't have to walk far to get to it. It has street parking (metered), a quick food restaurant (with beer), outdoor seating right on the beach, a small beach shop and not only bathrooms but changing rooms as well. Pass-a-Grille itself is a quaint little town that is MUCH less commercial than the rest of the beaches in Pinellas County. Belleair Beach is quiet, but doesn't have any restaurants whatsoever. I only gave it 4 stars because...on a busy Friday afternoon at 1pm, right on the walkway, by the picnic tables, a 4 ft black snake slithered by. I know this is Florida but it just slithered along on the walkway. It FREAKED me out!

One of the best beaches on the East Coast, came down from Rhode Island and was taken away by the scenery! Saw dolphins in the distance, sting rays jumping out of the water. Not crowded at all & would highly recommend this gem to anyone! I kept getting recommendations to go to ClearWater Beach, nope I’ll go here 100 times before going to ClearWater 😎

Parking is somewhat difficult but you just need to make a few rounds and you’ll find a spot eventually. Pay for parking $19 for 4 hours is what we paid, you can extend time while on the beach if needed. Walking distance to food.

Great beach, if you’re into the beach. Plenty of shells for collecting, lots of space to spread out, and beach bars within walking distance. The water gets really warm in the summer, but is cool during the late fall/winter. Only problem is the parking. Come at least an hour early to find parking if you’re coming here on a weekend or during...
