Man, talk about disappointing!!!! I’ve NEVER been to a Chilis but decided to try it. The food was absolutely fantastic….what we got to eat. The server came and took our drink order (3 waters, sprite and sweet tea) we asked for the Endless Chips and salsa. I don’t know why it’s called that bc we didn’t get a refill. Once we placed our dinner orders (triple dipper, 3 for me and chicken tender 6pc) I told her the burger was being split and the chicken was being split we needed 2 extra plates) well we sat waiting for the drink that came with my meal and a refill on the appetizer. The food came out and I called it, no extra plates. No drink, No appetizer. She never came back. The GM was standing within ear distance so he came over and I explained that my meal came with a soda I never got which he replied “you each have a drink so you need more” UM SIR A round of waters before we place an order doesn’t constitute a drink that I’m paying for. His attitude was crazy!!! I also told him we didn’t get the plates that I mentioned previously as I placed our meal order so we could start eating our food and I also told him the chips and salsa, we never got those refilled OR the ones that came with my meal. He told me there’s no point in paying for two chips and salsa, which I agree but also I’ve never dined at a Chili’s restaurant. I understand the first one that we ordered is endless. I assumed because our server never said anything might be different the chips and salsa that came with my meal was a smaller one time portion. I didn’t know they were BOTH ENDLESS. We eventually got the things that we needed at the END of our meal and while I was still eating the waitress came over and took my son’s food and my food that I was still actively eating on and I asked for my food back which was slung my way. I’ve been in the restaurant industry since I was 16 I’m now 41 and I’ve been a general manager of three different restaurants and for the server and the acting MANAGER to have attitude and not do anything to make it better or to get us to come back is Crazy work!!!!! I was so polite not causing a scene or being unreasonable. It’s SO disappointing because the food was phenomenal, but I did just put everything into containers and leave. I was asked if I wanted the chips and salsa to go or a drink because again the drink that came with my meal, I didn’t even get to drink half of it because it came at the very en. If I wanted all my stuff to go, I would’ve ordered a DoorDash order or ordered on the website directly for a pick up meal. I will be calling corporate since the acting manager doesn’t have a clue on what to do. Unacceptable. I don’t have an issue with paying for my food. I’m not trying to get anything for free, but I’m not gonna have a general manager making it out like I’m being unreasonable or ask for things...
Read moreThis place is the epitome of a dump , both the food and the place is disgusting and add the cook and the manager as well. This place needs shut down for the lack of management responsibilities and customer service along with cleanliness and health food safety. There corporate office of brinker owner of chili's and magionos needs to inspect and fire the existing management. When a manager fails to upkeep his staff and restraunt in a clean and orderly fashion he needs be replaced by someone who can uphold the company image. I ordered the quesadilla explosion salad to share with my wife. We seen the waitress write on the order for the chicken that's supposed to be grilled to be served fresh and hot . Instead it's ice cold as if it had been stored precooked and then served, there food is supposed to be made to order, a clear indicator it's not. The manager is contacted I expressed my concerns about the quality of the food and how I requested in the beginning it to be served. He really didn't seem to care about it, asked me what I wanted I said to be served fresh the first time like it's supposed to. He replaced the order, and never came back to see if the second one was better or if everything was ok. the next serving was worse than the first, the chicken was so dried out and over cooked you couldn't cut it with a fork or bite it in half or use your fingers to tear it in half. So again.!! He's contacted im beyond annoyed with him and the cook , he comes back the third time with just the chicken and it's finally correct, but now I have to pick out all the overcooked and dried out chicken from my salad to add, remake my own salad. No I'm sorry sir this shouldn't be this way nothing but the I don't care service. He did comp the meal ,but with out any remorse for the quality of food and service he failed to establish. The place also is very dirty leaving concern about the food safety. With several employees standing around there is no excuse for a restraunt to be this dirty, it's a serious health risk for anyone and especially myself as a transplant patient easily suspectable to bacteria and food born illnesses See the photos for a better idea of what I'm referring if the baseboard in the entry of the kitchen is this dirty and food possibly not kept at the right temperature. And garbage in the area where refills are kept and dirt caked on the return air vent above the same area all the food on the floors gives scarry thought to the...
Read moreHadn't been to Chili's in quite some time and decided to go there. Wasn't as pleased as I was the last time I ate there. Nobody was at the hostess podium when we arrived. Stood there a few minutes. The hostess came back and apologized, she had been cleaning off a table. Understandable.
Got seated, received our water quickly, waited about 15 minutes before our waiter returned to take our order. As we were contemplating leaving, he returned. Found out he's also the bartender, so he was waiting tables and bartending and was busy.
We received our appetizer, then received our entrees immediately after. No time to even eat our appetizer.
My meal was supposed to have mozzarella sticks but didn't. When I asked the guy who delivered our food (not our waiter,) he said they were out of them so they substituted chicken strips. Without even telling me??? He wasn't even gonna say anything, I had to ask! Then i noticed the garlic bread I was supposed to get was missing, so I asked him about that. He said they were out of that too. I had to ask him if they could substitute rolls or something else as he did not even offer (or even tell me that they were out of garlic bread, he just delivered my plate and said nothing, same as with the mozzarella sticks.) He said they have breadsticks so that's what I got.
As I ate my dinner, I realized the street corn that was part of my meal was ALSO missing!! I had to ask about that too!!! The guy that had brought our food to us initially said he'd go get it. He brought it out, and offered NO apology or explanation as to why he didn't bring it with my meal in the first place!!
I get it, businesses are shorthanded. But don't substitute items without telling me!! And not include everything on a platter that's supposed to be included, and not even tell the customer.
Other than those issues, the food was really good, and so was the bartender who served us. The person who failed to ensure we received everything we ordered could definitely use some training. If you're out of something, TELL the customer. Dont just substitute without even asking! And make sure everything that is supposed to be on the plate is ON it when you deliver it...
