Hi, I just had a really bad experience at the Imoâs located on Jungermann Rd. My husband went inside and placed a to-go order for 2 pizzas and 2 chef salads. We have been lifelong Imoâs lovers for the past 35 years.
My son has brain cancer and doesnât eat much, so when he requested Imoâs for lunch right before his next MRI this Thursday, we were happy to oblige. My husband brought home the pizzas, and my six kids quickly dug in. Almost immediately, they started commenting that the pizza didnât taste like it normally does. I brushed it off at first, but once I took a bite, I realized they were rightâit definitely didnât taste the same as what we normally receive from Imoâs.
When I inspected the salad, I noticed the cheese also looked different. I called the store to ask if anything had changed. The person I spoke with told me nothing had changed and said since we had already started eating, they couldnât offer a refund. She wasnât very helpful on the phone, so I drove back to the store with the pizza and salad.
When I arrived, Tim, the manager, was waiting. He immediately came across as hostile and wouldnât let me get a word inâhe kept talking over me whenever I tried to speak. At first, he offered me a $10 store credit. When I said I wasnât interested, he reduced it to a $5 refund. When I tried to explain further, he cut me off again, opened my food containers, flung my pizza around, and then said the best he could do was a $3 credit.
I asked if he was the store owner. He told me yes, that he owned this store and six others. When I pressed further, he clarified that he didnât own them but was the district manager, and that I wouldnât be able to contact the owner. He also refused to take my information to pass along to the owner, even though I asked. He claimed I had come in âhostileâ and was âdisrespecting him.â I apologized and explained that wasnât my intention, and even asked him how I had disrespected him so I could avoid doing so in the future. He scoffed, tossed my pizza around again, walked away, and helped another customer.
I left the store feeling humiliated, disappointed, disrespected, and still hungry. At this point, I donât even feel comfortable eating the pizza I paid for after how...

Pizza was ok, not what we've come to expect and the salad had more red cabbage than lettuce. Sweet tea was not sweet, when told the employee said "oh they must have forgot sugar; this is not the first time here.
There was a burnt smell in the air the whole time there. Looking at their oven conveyor, it looks like they haven't cleaned it or at least brush it.
Dining area was a mess. Employee air to g at one table just left his unfinished lunch on one table; fortunately it was not busy.
The lack of cleanliness either extends to the bathroom or the other way around. The mens room was as bad or worse than a highway roadside gas station restroom. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in at least a week.
We have visited this place a number of times but this is the second time where it seems things are getting worse. I doubt we will return to this one.
I know I posted a bad review for this place once before on tripasvisor but it seems nobody pays attention to that from Imo's so let's try here.
You may as well close this place unless you are banking on the high school down the road keeping it...

I had ordered ahead of time called at 11:27 before lunch time rush got my two little kids with went to pick it up paid at 12:47 then had to wait some more then I had to go back to work so I had to leave unfortunately. I was so upset. Then I called up there asked the guy on the phone this is Julie I was there earlier I had paid already for my food I couldnât wait anymore due to I had to go back to work which is why I had to order ahead of time. Asked him if he could deliver it for me he said sure it would be a $3.00 charge plus 35 minute wait. Not once did he say I am so sorry for your inconvenience or anything he just got defensive real quick well thatâs why I give a span of 35 minute wait really guy. I agree with him that I did come a little early but that is not how you treat a customer. Also mind you there were only 5 others...
