This hidden gem it’s a MUST visit! I love trying all types of food when my husband and I go out on date nights, and Bistro 3951 really excelled all my expectations. We ordered several plates to try out. I started with the Tomato, Mozzarella, Avocado salad. It was delicious! Not filling and full of flavor! The dressing and seasoning was just perfect. Then I felt a chill in the air, so I ordered the Shrimp Chowder…and Oh my goodness! It was so creamy and delightful and it had this delicious poached egg on top to enhanced the presentation and its flavor. A very good touch! My husband ordered the Minestrone. Which if you’re looking for a soup that’s tasteful and full of nutrients…this is it! The vegetables were cooked to perfection…the veggies kept their shape and were not disintegrating in the soup like I’ve had it in other restaurants. Finally, my husband and I decided to share the plates of the Stir Fried Steak and the Pasta Fettuccine with Broccolini and Mushrooms. Both choices were amazing. The sauce used on the pasta had a very light spice to it, a flavorful spice…not burning your mouth hot spice. The Stir Fried was my husband’s pick and he really enjoyed that as well. It was topped with this perfectly crispy round potatoes wedges that were so soft in the middle. The steak has this spicy soy sauce, when it’s mixed with the rice and tomatoes wedges…all those flavors just complement each other well it was excellent. At the end of our meal, Chef Michael showed us around the unique area for this restaurant concept. He was so welcoming and so friendly to talk to . All in all….I left very full, satisfied, and impressed with the quality of the food and most importantly the Flavors. Now that the weather has dropped a bit, I’m heading back for that Chowder. By far the best chowder I”ve ever had. Go try Bistro 3951….you will not be disappointed with the food nor the...
Read moreAs a Peruvian, I’m usually pretty picky about my country’s food, but I had to take the time to write a review after my amazing experience at this restaurant. I don’t normally write reviews, but this place truly impressed me.
I ordered the Lomo Saltado, and wow— it was perfection. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, and the onions still had that perfect crunch. The dish had a wonderful depth of flavor, with just the right touch of pisco. The crispy potatoes complemented the dish beautifully, all served on a bed of fluffy white rice. It’s honestly one of the best Lomo Saltado I’ve had outside of Peru.
I also tried the Porchetta Peruvian Sandwich, which was an excellent fusion of flavors. The pork tenderloin was succulent with crispy skin, and the Italian pesto added a unique twist. The focaccia bread was perfectly tasty and held everything together.
On top of the great food, the chef was super friendly and made the experience even better.
I highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area. It’s located at 515 22nd St South, Suite 130 St Petersburg, FL 33712....
Read moreStopped by foodie labs, found a new restaurant had opened up, it's a Peruvian Italian fusion so I gave it a try. I had the Tuscan roasted Chicken dinner. The dish comes with battered fried potatoes (cottage fries) and rice. It also comes with two dipping sauces. The chicken was absolutely delicious moist not dry at all.the flavor gives your taste buds a lil kick not spicy just full of flavor. The cottage fries are a combo of tender and moist on the inside with a wonderful crunch on the outside. The pervian rice was perfectly cooked and the fire roasted pepper salsa to dip the chicken in was sublime. This place is a hidden lil gem in St Pete. I'll definitely be going back to try the...
